I own so many books that I haven't read yet, and I plan to move in a month or so. If I can read them and donate them, I won't have to pack them up :)
My big summer reading project will be Children of Blood and Bone, by Tomi Adeyemi I cant wait to dive in!! Happy reading everyone! 🤗📖
I want to finish a book. I used to read a few dozen books a year. But with school and a new love for kpop, I haven't read a full book this year. (I've read many short stories at least.) I want to finish the re-read of Scythe, War Storm (last book of the Red Queen series,) and the Sward of Summer by Rick Riordan.Happy reading everyone!

I'm planning to read all of the books in my "Want to read" pile which includes authors like Brandon Sanderson, Mark Lawrence, Gillian Flynn, Andy Weir, etc.

Salem's Lot was my first King book and I have decided to try the series now. Reading Gunslinger atm :)
How are you liking it ?
Also reading Sapiens in parallel. So I have two VERY different reads on my hands right now !!
I'm planning to read Lord of the Rings this summer. I haven't read it yet, although I love the genre fantasy...
My summer reading is going to be tackling my TBRs from my enormous piles of owned books that are continuing to pile up. I would love to make a dent (so I can add all the new books I want to read, but need the space!)
Target for this summer is The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. TolkienIt's been years that i postpone this series but it's such a must-read!
Hello I found this website recently I signed up but I cannot find the full versions of the books I cannot open them can someone help me about this? I mean where to click or how to read the books?
This will be the first summer in about four-five years I will not be working on graduate work. So this will be one of the first times I can actually get into several books without feeling guilty. :)

I will start next week, perhaps next Wednesday.

As I am not a student or teacher with summers off (or some other profession that doesn't work during the summers), it's not like I have more time to read. I still have to work full-time! (And I usually take my vacations in the spring or fall because it's cheaper to travel then.)
E wrote: "I don't "plan" more than a book or two ahead. Whatever strikes my fancy at the time..."I'm like that too. I do have a list if books I want to read, and some are priority (ie. the ones I am most interested in), but even though I have a list, sometimes I will see a random book that catches my interest and read it before the next one on the list. Also, I have to read what is available at the library.
Tara wrote: "I'm planning to read IT by Stephen King this summer. I'm going to be lying on a beach while reading about scary clowns lol"Great book! Stephen King books tend to be long, and I'm a slow reader, but he makes 1000 pages seem like 400!
Jen wrote: "My goal is to read 8 to 10 books per month this summer 😫"Oh wow! I can barely read 30 books a year (I'm a slow reader). This year I seem to be reading way more than usual, but that's because I'm re-reading some Roald Dahl books.
Alisha wrote: "My big summer read will be Gone with the WindAND the Harry Potter series because I'm 23 and have never read them.

The Harry Potter series is great! (I was older than 23 when I read them--they really are good for any age!).
I'm curious about Gone with the Wind. There are a lot of longer classics that interest me, but I'm afraid of tackling them and wasting my time on a book I don't like.

But some people read more while they are on vacation and some just always read. Everyone is free to do whatever he or she likes to do or read 😂😂
Adam wrote: "There are so many books that I would like to read that the list would be endless. However, I would really like to finish reading The Railway Children and then try a bit of Charles Dickens with David Copperfield and Hard Times. "
I've read a few Charles Dickens books, and it's been a while since I've read any; I definitely want to read more. David Copperfield was the first CD book I read--a good book!
My big book this summer will be Buddenbrooks by Thomas Mann. I got a nice used copy coming. First time in years I haven’t searched for a Russian Novel

All you people planning to delve into Russian literature during your summer months make me tired! I plan to read beachy, light-hearted fare, combined with murder mysteries, and catch up on all the authors whose series I have had to neglect while reading YA books for three monthly book clubs from September-May! I also like to read travel books so that even if I'm not taking a trip, I can take one in my head.
Oh my goodness! So many exciting new books coming out - my local library will be sick of the sight of me!
Right now I am reading The Girl Who Drank the Moon and Final Girls and they are both pretty good reads so far. I hope after I finish these two books that I can get to Candy Darque's Week Off and go from there. I've read some pretty good reads so far this Summer which I started my Summer reading back in May to this month so far as I am just reading books I own as well as library books and overdrive ebook library books this year.
For many years, I have done at least 1 Russian novel- last year’s was Dr. Zhivago.I read pretty eclectically as you can see from my list, and at 61....
This year, I am tackling Buddenbooks by Thomas Mann. If I can find a used copy,I’d love to also tackle Wilson’s new Odyssey translation
I'm trying to read as much as I can from my own stacks of books, and wow there are so many. I am now reading three books at a time and really enjoy it. I try to read the ARC's first as I need to review them, but really I review them all, happy reading all!!

The Hyperion series is actually 4 books long, not 3.
