Interviews and how I feel about them ...

Interviews are awesome!! To have another human being who wants to chat to me and find out about me is so wonderful I get emotional just thinking about it.
I've had two in the last couple of weeks.
Lynne is a fellow author on Crimson Cloak Publishing - http://www.lynnenorth.co.uk/blog/crim... and very kindly offered to interview me on her blog. I will of course return the favour and put her on my blog later in the year or early in 2016 when her book comes out.
The other interview was from Adelaide Magazine - http://adelaidemagazine.org/interview.... A new magazine for authors. They want your work and need to hear from authors old and new. So I'll support them as they have supported me by doing an interview.
So being interviewed is as I've already said, wonderful, but why? Being asked about myself is a boost to my ego, of course it is, but it's so much more than that. I don't consider myself a particularly interesting person, though my life has and continues to be a variety of adventures, but there are plenty of more adventurous people out there, and yet i have been blessed with quite a number of interviews over the years. I consider these blessings. An honour that someone has chosen to talk to me, to find out how I work and about my books. I have another interview coming up on the 25th October - only this one is on a radio show http://tunein.com/radio/Radio-Deeside... from 7-9pm and I believe we will be talking about all things spooky and writing and stuff, so tune in if interested.
I've been blessed with radio interviews before by a very kind lady, Michelle in America and hope to visit again. This radio show is closer to home and my nerves are going through the roof! It's not like a paper interview where I have time to consider the questions, I will be live, on air and hope to god I don't swear or say something daft!!
So I get interviews and I give interviews. My next guest is Don Ford who will be my next guest on my website www.pjroscoe.co.uk. If I can help then I will and find that I receive help back, so the world turns and all is well.
Interviews, conversations, it's all good and positive stuff to help each other. Never be afraid to ask about someone and ask if they're okay. We are all the same species, remember that next time someone wants to talk to you. I'll keep that in mind on Sunday night during this radio interview and then perhaps my nerves will disappear and I'll relax enough to be as interesting as possible!!!
Love and blessings
