The Open Day
Saturday 3rd October I was asked to be a part of a woman's healing center's open day. They loved the idea of having an author available, especially as my books main characters are strong women who endure and survive various torments.

Arriving at 9.30 I was informed that all the other stall holders had cancelled or not paid and so it was myself, Cathy a computer expert, Debbie who owns the center and also offers Tropic's a beauty collection and Helen who volunteers and helps a lot.
Feeling a little anxious for the day having ordered books from my publisher to come fast, I wondered how the day would progress. The first hour was sipping coffee, going around the building and giving spirit information from everything I could pick up on, then followed a flurry of people.
A man and his wife came and talked about Chakradance - the movement therapy I offer and spoke with Debbie regarding River Sense - a charity Debbie runs to promote water safety. Followed by two ladies and a lovely young lady. Books were sold and I await with bated breath their reaction to reading them.
We had lunch, Debbie's home-made soup then more people, books sold and connections made.
All in all, a very positive day. The right people came and the four of us enjoyed each other's company which is so much more wonderful. The word is spreading about the Ocean Healing Lounge and what is offered to women to help them heal and this can only be a magical thing.
I feel honoured to be a part of this journey and will be offering a Chakradance taster on the 27th October and then I hope to offer it monthly.
We are working on a date to offer my writing workshop - Write for you - healing with words. A day's workshop looking at how words shape our lives and how you see yourself.
In the new year I am offering a Grief workshop ' Grief is not a dirty word' Hopefully Jan/Feb, a day's workshop looking at information in the morning followed by healing exercises in the afternoon.
A busy time, a special time.
