Thanks, Maria! We know that time with our elderly pets is borrowed, of course ... but I'm glad to have Jarvis with us for a while longer.
The book I'm working on is actually the sequel to In The Eye of The Beholder: A Novel of The Phantom of the Opera. The first book takes place in Belle Epoque France and late Victorian London. The second book takes place in early 20th C. France, and then San Francisco -- starting at the time of the '06 Earthquake!

My thoughts are also with you, Jarvis. I've been where you are and it's gut-wrenching. Jotted your book down. I also write historical fiction so was delighted to read historical fiction's on the up swing. I'm also a supporter of women cracking the glass ceiling even more. I'm purchasing your book today. Hope your sales rock the charts!
Oops, misread and thought your book was out. Okay, when it launches I'll be in the queue. (Can get a bit fired up over historical fiction. :)

In The Eye of The Beholder: A Novel of The Phantom of the Opera is available via Amazon, B&N, Smashwords and the other usual places. The sequel ("In The Eye of The Storm") is in progress and coming along with alacrity since I had that breakthrough.
It was nice to hear about the upswing in historical fiction. It appears to go in cycles of popularity, although I like to read it whether it's in vogue or not.
Thanks for your comments!

Can't wait to read your new book. I love historical romance!
