article up: Does Science Fiction Shape the Future?

Journalist Namir Khaliq recently e-mail interviewed me and several other SF writers on the relations of science fiction to real world applications, and appliers; the results are now up here online in Nautilus Magazine:

(I could have given him a more recent photo of me if he'd asked... wish I could as easily shave off 25 years in real life.)

Greg Tingey Totally off-topic, but:

"No Hands but Ours"

Scroll down an article on - BBC news item about medieval coin hoard found outside Stirling castle .... If you can find it - links not permitted here, which is a nuisance ...

And look at the picture of the Medieval ring?

I was going to show a direct link to ring image: Which displays a perfect pair of opposed, clasped hands
Again - email me & I can provide you with direct links, if you want them

Please tell more about the ring

Shane Castle Apropos of links: Actually, yes, you can. Note that above and to the right of the comment box there's a small link "(some html is ok)". Read that.

Apropos of the OP: My opinion is that yes, sort of, SF can shape the future, but in the same way that any published work may do so, since publishing one's imaginings and thereby spreading ideas can indeed help shape the future.
