Book launch excitements have the life of a mayfly, so one must enjoy them in passing.

Nicole can answer for herself, but I think my Kindle has the smallest screen I could bear to read a book on—unless I really had no alternative. I quite often use the Kindle program for Windows and read on my 24-inch monitor: less portable, but more generous with space!

Poor old eyes mean the font size has to be pretty big, which means I have to swipe a lot, which starts up RSI in my thumbs and muscle aches in my shoulders and back -- I work on a computer all day and do anything I can do to minimize time on lit-from-behind screens. I have a Kobo ereader which has the e-ink (is that what it's called?) which I find easier on my eyes and I don't have to hold it in my hand to read it.

I hear you, Jonathan. I like the bigger size of a computer screen too but it tends to give me a headache because of the light it puts out.

It shows up on the page with all the rest of your books.

My ebooks are supposed to populate through the Amazon and Apple/iBooks systems pretty much worldwide automagically, but I have no idea what technical matters speed or delay this.

Assassins is up on amazon.de.
For those logged in with the incorrect amazon account (i.e. with the one registered on amazon.com), there is a message that urges the prospective reader to go to amazon.com to complete the purchase. My advice is to keep the amazon.de and the amazon.com accounts separate. If someone has encountered different issue than this one, I know nothing of it.
