Thanks, but what is Story Graph?
L.

I read an article in the New Statesman by Sarah Manavis about some shortcomings she sees in GoodReads along with her review of Story Graph, so I gave it a try.
I'm not anti-GoodReads, but can appreciate some of the points she made about the user interface and its tight ties to Amazon. (I'm reluctant to post the link of an article bashing GoodReads on a GoodReads forum, but it's easy enough to find and an interesting read.)

I say, Read it now, and then wait for the audiobook. By then it will have faded in memory a little. I find hearing the words to be such a completely different experience from reading them to myself: I always notice new things in the story when I listen.
(I freely admit to having a double-bias:
1) I dislike extended suspense, and 2) I find Lois' stories especially agreeable to re-visit multiple times.)

I strongly agree. I've read CoC many times, along with all of Miles, and have a couple of read thru's of the Sharing Knife series. Her writing style is especially readable, and you get additional insights (and enjoyment) each time through.

It will make it to Nook; I have no idea when. I suspect B&N is still untangling their systems from the cyber attack last week. If it doesn't appear from the upload we made on Thursday by the time we do the corrections pass, we'll try uploading again, probably early next week.
If you don't want to wait, well, iBooks and Kindle are working at present. It's easy enough to download the free Kindle app onto most devices -- I have mine on my tablet, my laptop, and my phone all three -- and be underway shortly. There is no rule that you can only possess one reading device/app exclusively.
Ta, L.
