Where to Begin in the Series: GhostWalkers

The GhostWalkers are my second largest series with 14 books currently in that series and another one that I’m currently writing. As you likely know by now, I write all of my books to be stand alone stories. You can read them in any order and you’ll have a full story. But, like most series there is often an overall story arc that can enhance a reader’s overall enjoyment of the story of the GhostWalkers.

description

The GhostWalkers are military experiments gone awry. They were to be psychically enhanced, but many also had their DNA manipulated. Some of these super soldiers have brain bleeds and need “anchors” to help sooth them and keep them focused. The later experiments had more DNA splicing, but less defects.

Shadow Game (GhostWalkers, #1) by Christine Feehan

There are four teams of GhostWalkers located in different areas around the United States. If you don’t want to start at the very beginning with team 1 you might consider starting with Viper Game, which has us in the Louisiana Bayou with team 4. Viper Game introduces us to some of the failed experiments made up of orphaned girls with strange DNA splicing/editing.
If you’d like to start even later in the series consider Power Game. This introduces us to a new set of women who are more closely tied to Whitney, the scientist who created the GhostWalker program and it expands into more international intrigue while still keeping us with team 4.

description

Again, keep in mind that you can read any of the GhostWalker books on their own and have a complete story. These are just some suggestions of starting points if you’re someone who wants to jump in later in a series.

Tina Alicea This is the only series I haven't completed. I skipped around alot but I'm close to catching up now. I think 4 more to go. I kind of wish I would have read them in order even though you don't have to. I may go back and read in order once I'm caught up.

Kimmi I love this series. I found book 3 first so I didn't have to back track much.

AlwaysV I'd also recommend that Gator's book Night Game is a must! That's when we all fell so in love with Nonny💕 Can't read the other books in the bayou without an introduction to Nonny first.

I started with Kadan's Murder Game first. And fell so crazy in love with all the GhostWalkers 💕 So I backtracked to Lily's Shadow Game to #14! I'll read all the future GW books. . . as long as you keep writing them for us. Thank You So Much 💖

Patty Wilson Absolutely Huge Fan of this series. Just amazing poetic artwork of words that pulls any reader into a world that is Adventures, Action, Humor, Erotic. Loving, Compassionate and Most of all the true art of Family.

Marybelle I started with the book Covert Game after receiving a signed copy as a gift. After falling in love with the characters, I went back to the beginning and caught up. I’m not sure which group of Ghostwalkers I like most, Montana or Louisiana. I do have one question, and hope someone has an answer. I noticed that at the end of Spider Game Cayenne says she’s pregnant, but in Power Game and Covert Game, it’s Pepper who is pregnant. What happened to Cayenne & Trap’s baby?

She is still pregnant. I just don't talk about it in Covert Game, but it will be talked about in Toxic Game.
After so many books in a series it's hard to do a laundry list of "catching up" with previous couples without it sounding forced. So, I just elect not to update everything on everyone unless there's a reason. But, it is mentioned in Toxic Game.

Marybelle Thank you! I don’t know why, but the character of Cayenne gets to me. I think it’s her sense of innocence mixed with her uncanny way of looking into a person and seeing the truth.

Lori I love all of your series. I have almost all of the carpathian books and this series.

Granny C I love these books so much I have to force myself to ration my reading to one book every two or three weeks or the house won't get cleaned nor the husband fed. The dogs are getting annoyed.

Firefly Hello, is there going to be book related to Javier and Rhianna? I feel as though I've read their story but I can't find their book so it must be my overactive imagination - or my age.

message 14: by Jayne (new)

Jayne Bylak which cities are each team located in?I know team 4 is in Louisiana Bayou so where are the other three teams located at? Thanks.

Marybelle Hi. There are two teams, I think in Montana, by one of the national parks (Teams 1 & 2). Team 3 is in San Francisco, and specializes in Urban Warfare if I’m not mistaken. Can anyone check my data on this?

Yes! I feel like there is more to their story as well!

Yes, you are correct. Teams 1 & 2 have worked together in some books (Jess originally appeared in Nico & Dahlia's book, Ken & Jack were intro'd in Flame & Gator's etc), Team 3's started in Book 8 and had worked with part of Team 4 in Book 9 -- though Joe of T4 was introduced in 8 also. Am in Book 10 but I think Book 11 starts off Team 4's arc...

Mark Richardson enjoying all the entire Ghost Walker series, as a disabled vet most of the situations are pretty close to home they get tangled up in. Guessing there are future plans to complete stories for all the teams and members, mixed in with your other book series. I picked up Lethal Game and had it completed in 1-day. Looking forward to future stories and how they all tie in together. Have noticed in the last few books that the team 4 seems to be gaining members, maybe they are returning from missions and they are now part of the story line. Understand the 4 teams represent each of the 4 service branches (Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy [SEALS to be exact]) is there a ever changing list of team members for each team that you are working through to complete the story lines? Did like the cross over of Norton brothers and few others supporting Team 4 (Air Force) in Lethal Game, would be interested to see more team cooperation in future story arcs. Looking forward to next edition, will likely not be able to put it down just like the first 16.

Mark, I like your evaluation. I also want to say, thank you for your service. The Ghost Walkers are great, but you are one of the real ones out there. God bless.
