I really enjoyed the covers discussion. In a past life, I was an editor for a magazine and engaged in lots of discussions with the artists. I usually lost. And to tell the truth, I can't remember more than one time that a reader wrote to comment or complain. (The one time was a typo in one of the illustrations. Lots of readers caught that, but I, the editor/proofreader, didn't.)

I received my Goodreads digest and saw that I somehow missed this blog post. And that it only had 1 comment. That's not right.I wondered how much work took place behind the scenes with cover design. Sounds like a lot of trial and error.
I’m not sure one can talk with artists. You have to show them pictures. Sounds like good advice.
I haven't seen that Hallowed Hunt cover before. :)
