a book about, well, me

Or, still better, my work. By British scholar Edward James, who has also done a lot of other writing about SF writing, and about history, which you can see on the link.

It occurs to me, belatedly, that I have failed to mention this book. It occurs even more belatedly that it would be eligible for a Hugo nomination this year in, iirc, the "Best Related Works" category, if anyone is interested in such.

Genevieve Cogman The book was reviewed in the Times Literary Supplement (a UK publication), too. My father sent me a scan of a clipping. They liked it.

If anyone has a link or scan of that review, can you forward it to me? I am curious.

Miriam Unfortunately, libraries on Long Island don't have it. The New York Public Library has a copy, but you can't actually borrow it, just read it in their research building.
