Should I do NaNoWriMo?

Back from DC!
The kids were out of school all of last week for Fall Break (anyone else have a full week off?), so we traveled up to DC and the big monuments, the Capital, and several museums. My feet hurt! lol
But it was a lot of fun. One highlight was The Spy Museum. I really expected that to be kind of cheesy, but it was really good! Lots of history and still interactive enough that the kids loved it. If I wrote political thrillers, it would have generated so many ideas! But now I can just twist what I lear...

The best book app for readers
Allow me to be nerdy for one brief minute: according to Pew Research, 30% of Americans now read ebooks, and more than 54% read the books on their smartphones. Most readers have their favorite apps or devices. It’s October!
It’s October 1st!
Why am I excited? Not because of Halloween, but because it’s a new month, which means a new start, and October 1st means a new quarter!
It’s the last quarter of the year, which always instills a little bit of panic in me. And every quarter, I always vow to get my stuff together and be organized and productive and put together. hahahaha But still, I always hope.

I love Kickstarter (and a Bound by Bloodsong update)
I just backed Candace Osmond’s Omnibus for Dark Tides. I’ve never read her books or even heard of her, but her campaign totally sucked me in. I mean, look at the reward tiers! A mystery box?! A Funko Pop doll?! It was a really hard choice, but I went with the mystery box.

First up, it’s like I remembered I have a website! lol I seriously need to get better at updating this thing. It’s been almost a year, and I had a new book release over the summer!
