Spent Mother's Day with new friends Jun and Ayako. We walked in a bamboo forest, washed our money in a cave, sampled local food and ended up gazing at the Great Buddha of Kamakura that I had previously known only from pictures.

I wonder if she merely posed with the bike. How can you ride a bike in that outfit? When this photo was taken pious Filipinas were made to believe they would lose their virginity if they rode a bike or that they would get pregnant swimming in a public pool that had men in it.
