How Man Flow Yoga Helped Scott’s Spinal Stenosis More Than His Physical Therapist Did (Member Highlight: Scott T.)
Around eight years ago, Scott T. developed lower back pain. Since he sits at a desk for work and enjoys walking in his local city park, this lower back pain started to worry Scott. And so, he did what most men in a similar situation would do: He scheduled several visits with doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists.
After getting a spinal stenosis diagnosis, Scott started going to a physical therapist once a week. His physical therapist was an immense help because movement was the only thing that made his back feel better. But then, covid shut down the world.

Before discovering Man Flow Yoga, Richard B. (today’s Better Man Podcast guest) developed intense hip pain from his job. His pain was so strong that he actually thought he developed a kidney stone!
As he started doing physical therapy for his pain, he was reminded of how similar physical therapy and yoga are. Unlike most Man Flow Yoga Members, yoga played a large role in Richard’s fitness regimen for most of his life.
While he preferred doing yoga in a yoga studio with others, he quickly changed his tune after his first Man Flow Yoga session.

Kyle R., a 52 year old Man Flow Yoga Member, first discovered Man Flow Yoga because he enjoys running, but the constant stress it caused on his joints was starting to take its toll. Particularly on his knees and ankles, but Kyle was also concerned about preventing common running-related injuries like runner’s knee, shin splints, and stress fractures.
So, after a brutal training period which caused immense stress on his joints, he decided to complement his running routine with yoga. That’s how he found Man Flow Yoga.
