Jason A., a Man Flow Yoga Member for over 2 years, initially joined Man Flow Yoga because he had body imbalances from years of being a banga—Bollywood’s more intense version of Zumba—fitness instructor. And he wanted to prevent injuring himself.
Like many of our Members, he started with the 7-Day Beginner’s Yoga for Men Challenge, and was instantly hooked. Despite being an active guy before Man Flow Yoga, including having years of yoga experience, Man Flow Yoga proved to be the superior method of working out for Jason.

Despite our name—and the fact that most of our customers are men—a big misconception about Man Flow Yoga is that it’s only designed for men. While most of our content, courses, and yoga videos are designed with men in mind, we also have several female Members who have gone through life-changing transformations through Man Flow Yoga, like Inger-Marie.
Inger-Marie proves that anyone can improve their strength, mobility, and flexibility from Man Flow Yoga. She’s not the only female Member we have, and she won’t be the last. In fact, she even spreads the Man Flow Yoga gospel to everyone she knows — both male and female. According to her, if everybody used Man Flow Yoga, she thinks only 10%—at most—of people who suffer from knee pain, back pain, leg pain, or any other kind of bodily pain.

Yoga for Sciatica | 9 Must Do Yoga Poses for Sciatic Nerve Pain Relief
Sciatica pain is caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve. Weakness in your core and glutes can contribute to improper body mechanics and alignment, affecting your entire body. These imbalances make you more susceptible to injury, including lumbar disc herniations that produce sciatica pain. Two people in the same automobile accident, for instance, could suffer (or not suffer) different injuries depending on their core strength. The person with a strong core and good alignment could walk away unscathed, while someone with a weak core and poor alignment could endure the type of lumbar disc herniations that produce sciatica pain.
Because sciatica pain isn’t only the result of tightness and weakness in the lower back and legs, it’s vital to incorporate an effective strength-based yoga routine that uses targeted strengthening exercises, stretches, and mobility work to help alleviate and fix the causes of sciatica pain.

Dennis K., a 63-year-old Man Flow Yoga Member, has dabbled in yoga for most of his life. He’s no stranger to frequenting yoga classes. Thanks to his YMCA membership, he’s even taken dozens of Bikram and hot yoga classes.
He quickly fell in love with Dean’s approach by watching YouTube videos, and shortly signed up for a Man Flow Yoga membership.
Not only does he finally get to practice yoga how he wants to—where the physical aspects come first—but joining Man Flow Yoga has also helped him be more consistent with every other workout he does.

Join Man Flow Yoga For The Non-Spiritual Aspect… Stay For The Strength & Flexibility (Member Highlight: Chad V)
Chad, Man Flow Yoga Member since December 2019, originally joined Man Flow Yoga to complement his other workouts. In addition to yoga, Chad also does strength training 3x a week, swims 1,000 meters twice a week, and attends a spin class twice a week.
Like many other men unfamiliar with Man Flow Yoga, Chad heard about many of the benefits of yoga, but the spiritual component that usually comes equipped with yoga turned him off. He just wanted an effective way to build his strength and flexibility, not connect with the Supreme Consciousness.
Only when he started researching non-spiritual yoga classes did he find Man Flow Yoga, and knew he had to give it a try.

How A Man Flow Yoga Member With Rheumatoid Arthritis Baffled His Rheumatologist (Member Highlight: Eddie Caliendo)
20 years ago, Man Flow Yoga Member, Eddie Caliendo, got a dreaded diagnostic from his doctor: He had rheumatoid arthritis!
Most people with rheumatoid arthritis get medicine from their rheumatologist to mitigate their symptoms. And Eddie was no different. After receiving the diagnosis, his rheumatologist prescribed him medicine, and he continued living a mostly normal life.
But within 6 months of joining Man Flow Yoga, he not only began to manage the pain, but even evaded it completely!
