2023 Bram Stoker Award Preliminary Ballot: THE SIXTH SENTINEL

I'm happy to learn that THE SIXTH SENTINEL graphic novel (Independent Legions), based on the story by Poppy Z. Brite, written and adapted by me and Stefano Fantelli, illustrated by Stefano Cardoselli, made the 2023 Bram Stoker Awards Preliminary Ballot, in Graphic Novel category.

Il Maggiore Grant, che abita la casa in compagnia della moglie Mary e della governante Ann MacLaren, inizia a scoprire la realtà che si cela dietro le tante macabre leggende e superstizioni che hanno donato alla casa la fama di dimora infernale. Ma la verità, così come la reale natura (e obiettivi) delle forze oscure in campo, che si mostrano come allucinazioni o distorsioni della realtà, spesso si rivela peggiore di qualsiasi fantasia, e scoprirla può costare tutto.
