Story of the Year 2015 Pubished

'Mr. Garret's Interview' won Story of the Year 2015 from FictionMagazines.com. It appears in the eFiction Vol 7 No 1.

It is about an interviewer named Mr. Garret who is talking with Gladys about some of the strange happenings at the assisted living facility she lives in. It doesn't take long for Mr. Garret to realize that things are not at all what they seem as Gladys tells him her twisted tale.

Story of the Year Winner!

I can't believe it, but I was just notified that my piece 'Mr. Garret's Interview' was selected as the Story of the Year by Fiction Magazines! I'm so excited and very honored! The piece will be republished in April in their upcoming issue of eFiction.

Needle and Bone Published!

Deadfun Publications put together 'Shadows in Salem' anthology where all stories are set in Salem, Massachusetts. My piece 'Needle and Bone' was over the word limit but they were impressed enough to include it anyway. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Had to share the great news. My piece 'Mr. Garret's Interview' which was originally published in The Sirens Call has been shortlisted for Story of the Year by eFiction's founder and owner Doug Lance!

I'll find out later this week if my story was selected.

Starting Over Published

Just notified yesterday that my story 'Starting Over' was picked up by Olde Style Tales Press and will be appearing in The Yellow Booke - A Journal of original horror, ghost stories, and weird fiction.

Luther realizes that as the flood rushes through his neighborhood that he has very little time to reach safety. While trying to rescue his terrified neighbor with an injured little boy, Luther is confronted with the stark reality that he might not make it ---- again.
