Latest New Realm Cover!

This is the issue that features my story 'Light and Shadow'. It was inspired by watching the shadows crossing the carpeted floor of my family room and watching my kids play.

Just had confirmation that another story I mentioned in the blog earlier in the year sold. It was from a writing prompt of three words; Sean,Boston, and umbrella.

Stems

Just finished a short story entitled 'Stems'. It was inspired by something that actually happened to me a long, long time ago.

I used to volunteer and play my guitar at a local Veterans Affairs hospital where my mom worked. Looking back on that time, I wondered why is it that we typically view elderly as gentle, kind and loving. For the most part, we tend to discount the idea that perhaps there is something a bit darker, a bit more sinister hidden behind the wide smile, gray hair and wrinkles.

Player One Ready

The campfire stories were always good, and I'd always pay attention to every detail seeing if I could picture the ending or see where the twist would come. Well, I've written one story inspired from those memories entitled 'Dirty Fingernails' and now I've started another tentatively titled 'Axe and the Man'.

It's about a young boy who is camping for the first time in his life with his new Boy Scout troop and the things he learns and hears and sees while spending the night out under the stars...

Deadfall Done

I've put the final touches on my rough draft for the second installment of my YA series. I originally wanted it done by the end of January, but it took a little bit longer to get it just right. I think it's a great addition to the first book in the series. Pretty solid with some good twists and turns.
