Reaping the Dream

Featuring 'Just a Hint of Red' and 'Reaping the Dream'

This issue features two stories of mine 'Reaping the Dream' and 'Just a Hint of Red'. The first tale was inspired by something I tried to do over and over as a little kid. 'Just a Hint of Red' was an idea inspired by a photo my brother showed me of something he and his daughter found in the woods.

There is also a featured interview with me, talking about inspiration and my life as a writer.

Lowery - YA Sci-fi

Working on a new YA Sci-fi novel. I'm closing in on the 20,000 word mark and it's flowing. Lowery's discovered why the Foundry needed him and why he's so important to the other Articles.

Once the outcast, now he's the hope of rescuing the lost Articles in a reality he can barely control.

Spotlight - Dead of Winter

Just received the first round of edits for my story 'Spotlight' featured in the Mighty Quill Books anthology 'Dead of Winter'.

Who knew that everything we've learned about Thanksgiving was a lie? It's been a dark and sinister secret kept from us all along.

Dead of Winter

Was notified that my piece 'Spotlight' was accepted into the 'Dead of Winter' anthology published by Mighty Quill Books.

This story details something I've done every year with my family on Thanksgiving at the family farm. We play flashlight tag running around the outbuildings and the barn no matter how cold it is.

The true meaning of Thanksgiving is revealed in this piece. And, no, it's not what we've all read in the history books.

Ideas on a title?

Just finished my first editing pass with my third novel of the year. It's as yet untitled, but I'm hoping on the second editing pass, something might jump out at me and it'll title itself.

It has a Time Capsule in it.

It has a boy named Charlie

It has a villain named Killian Townsend...

Scars

Double Feature Magazine picked up my store 'Scars' for publication.

This story is about an elderly woman receiving treatment at a hospital. She has literally hundreds of small scars and several larger ones. As she begins telling the nurse treating her about them, she spills a long kept secret.

Sirens Call Hallowe'en Hell Issue Out Today!!

All stories have a decided Halloween slant to them!

My piece 'Leftovers' is featured. After Jeremy survives a terrible accident, he goes out for trick-or-treating again. Instead of his bag getting heavier as the night goes on, it gets lighter.

It's a free read on my site. Check it out!
