Dark Blue Kiss (2019)

 Before going into Dark Blue Kiss I would suggest to see Kiss Me Again, or at least the compilation about Pete-Kao that is available on Youtube, it helps better understaing their dynamics. I mostly liked Dark Blue Kiss, maybe what I don't like is that they are hiding their relationship, even if they have the support of Pete's father. Actually I don't understand why they have to hide it at school, where I suppose no one of their friends will be against it. Anyway the thrope of the series is Pete being jealous of Kao, and in his naivite, Kao is basically fueling this jealousy instead of trying to make Pete understand it's not necessary. There is also the side couple of Sun and Mork, they are cute, their story is not bad, but I was more invested in Pete and Kao, and sort of didn't pay attention to them. HEA. Dangerous Romance (2023)

 I utterly disliked the character of Kanghan in Dangerous Romance, and considering he has to be a bully, I think the actor did a good job. But he was so evil at first that it was difficult for me to like him after that, so the romance between Kanghan and Sailom was a little bit subdue for me. But I can understand this was a good budget production, the actors, main and supporting roles, were mostly good and the plot, even if ordinary, was well played. Not a huge impact on me, but I liked it. HEA. You can see it on Youtube. Heat Level: 5/6.

Cutie Pie (2022)

 Cutie Pie and its sequel was heavy on the romantic and comedy style. It's probably a little bit unrealistic, and sincerely, I don't see this huge appeal in Kuea “Kirin” Keerati that everyone fall in love with him, and his rebel side made me laugh out aloud instead of being impressed. Said that, I don't want to be too hard on him, he was playing the role of the uke and like that he was perfect. As Lian Kilen Wang was the perfect seme, aloof but attentive. I also liked quite a lot the side couple, that indeed has its own series, Naughty Babe (aside from the fact that here we saw them being intimate, and instead Naughty Babe starts again from them being still estranged from physical contact). If you want something light, without much drama and you don't care about realism, this is for you. HEA. You can see it on iQIYI and Viki. Heat Level: 5/6.

Queer Movie Beautiful (2018)

 Queer Movie Beautiful was for sure something different. I spent half the movie trying to understand what was happening, but not in a bad way, I really wanted to understand. In the end, from what I gather, the movie is mixing present time with Beom Hae's memory of Sang Whi, and that is the reason why, it got me by surprise that the love interest of Beom Hae is not actually Do Do. Do Do is indeed what Beom Hae wants to be, not what he wants. For poor Do Do indeed this is not a good news, cause, instead, I think he really likes Beom Hae, the closing scene I think express at best the sacrifice Do Do is willing to make for Beom Hae's happiness. In the end this is not an easy movie, it's lyric, allegoric, and therefore not for who is searching a simple comedy, but it has an appeal for the romantic comedy lovers because it's indeed all about love, and it has an HEA. Color Rush (2020)

 I have seen both s1 and s2 of Color Rush, but be aware my review is for s1, I utterly disliked s2 and I don't want to consider it. Color Rush is a fantasy high school romance. The interaction between Yeon Woo and Yoo Han is basically innocent, but there is a sexual tension underneath that is undeniable. Each time Yoo Han removes that mask, it's like he is completely stripping, and the effect on Yeon Woo is like being overcome by pain/pleasure. I was enthralled by these two and was expecting each single time when Yoo Han was without mask same as was Yeon Woo. Yoo Han is like a drugs, and Yeon Woo is completely addicted. HEA (s1). Cherry Blossoms After Winter (2022)

 Cherry Blossoms After Winter was very nice, I really liked both characters, maybe my only complaint is that, even after they are officially together, living together and sharing the same bed, there is no much intimacy between them, but that little moments we saw, are so sweet and good that you can easily overcome this little issue. Overall the series has not real drama, I wouldn't say it's fluffy, cause there are some tensions, but there are no tragic events and above all there is not separation between the main characters, that is a thrope I really don't like at all. Be My Favorite (2023)

 Be My Favorite was a little bit too much chaotic, but once you get into the multiple time travel events, it has its logic. There are some of the possible threads that I really don't like, Pisaeng marrying Praemai without no sense of guilt whatsover, or not marrying her cause he was having an affair with Kawi up till the marriage... but OK, it's fiction, and we all know the real couple is Pisaeng and Kawi, and they have to do all what is necessary to arrive to that ending. The romance was nice, no characters was evil, even Praemai was in the end a supporting and loving role. HEA. You can see it on Youtube. Heat Level: 4/6.

Be Loved in House: I Do (2021)

 Be Loved In House: I do was a cute comedy. There were maybe some faults in the screenplay, like, if Jin Yu Zhen is so particular, and apparently wealthy, why he is willing to share an apartment with Shi Lei? Of course, without this, we couldn't have the teasing of a private Jin Yu Zhen, literally without his work attire, allowing Shi Lei to see him under a different light. Overall I think this story would have worked better is the work premises was something bigger, the work related scenes didn't match the story. But the private moments were good enough to overcome it. Also the side story was nice, coffee shop owner and apprentice. Even the third wheel/villain was not a villain at all, and at one point, I almost wished he was the one ending up with Jin Yu Zhen. Let's Eat Together: Aki and Haru (2023)

 Let's Eat Together: Aki and Haru is a bromance, they are actually roommates; at the very first it seems to imply something more, Aki basically ran away from a potential love interest because Haru is waiting. And also the dynamics were those of a couple. I had actually had to search for hints, like they were sleeping in separate rooms, to understand that yes, they were just friends, completely and honestly friends. Of course the center of the movie is the food, but because it is the food conveying the feelings of Aki and Haru; and indeed, that promises at the end, to stay together in any cases and drink plum wine every year, I think answered my question if this was a romance or a bromance. A Shoulder to Cry On (2023)

 A Shoulder to Cry On was a teaser that never happened. I'm not talking about the actual teaser of the series, but of that first scene in the infirmary, that winking of Jo Tae Hyun that was so sexy. And yes, I found sexy even Lee Da Yeol and his archery moves. But that is, there are some titillating scenes, but the romance between them never moves over the initial bickering, sure, we can see that Lee Da Yeol is no more hating Jo Tae Hyun, and he is actually caring for the other boy, but it always gave me the impression I was missing something. Even when they are actually together, both adult, they are still behaving like they were in high school, playing like kids. So a lot of potential for a very nice high school romance that never happened. But overall I found the actors good, they are eye catching, the drama is there but it's not so big. HEA.
