Jun & Jun (2023)

 Jun & Jun was good, but it had some fault in the plot that prevented me to fully enjoy it. The starting point, having Jun and Jun meet by chance at the bus stop, when instead Choi Jun was well aware of Lee Jun's existence, having followed his idol career from afar. A by chance meeting, following by the coincidence that Lee Jun is working for Choi Jun, was a little too much. Second point I didn't like is the involvement of Simeon in the plot, all right, in the end the real love interest of Simeon is another man, but still I didn't like the intrusion. Said that the chemistry between Jun and Jun is very good, they are both funny and sexy together, a blend that is difficult to maintain, and I liked very much their interactions, both in public and private spaces. There is a funny fact I noticed, Choi Jun seems way taller than Lee Jun, and instead they are more or less the same. It's the way Choi Jun moves and acts, and it's perfect for his role. HEA. You Are Mine (2023)

 You Are Mine is one of the first series I have seen and is still one of my favorites. It's a cute comedy, but it played the sexy underground feeling very well, never exagerating but giving you enough sweet intimate moments to enjoy. Xia Shang Zhou is the aloof male lead I most enjoy, one who, once his love interest is awaken, is willing to do everything to conquer Yao Shun Yu, who is a sweet, naive man, but with an heart bigger than him. You will arrive at the end of the story with a smile that never faltered. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Heat Level: 3/6.

VIP Only (2023)

 I discovered that VIP Only has been produced by the same company of Stay by My Side and You Are Mine, two series I quite enjoyed, and the fourth, and for now last, production is Anti-Reset, one series I'm waiting for. So it was not surprise I quite enjoyed VIP Only. It was, as expected, cute and sweet, not too much sexy, but they well played the intimate moment, the hand of Gu Jing on Liu Li's nape was so sexy, it was worth more than 100 french kisses. One common trend of these series, is that they are mostly played between the main leads, intimate moments and suggestive theme songs in background, but the few scene with supporting characters are nice as well, and the cast is always fitted. I have to say these pairings are actually perfect, and the mood is a mix of comedy and romance in a perfect blend. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala, iQIYI and Viki. Heat Level: 3/6.

I Will Knock You (2022)

 I Will Knock You was not exactly what I expected, and truth be told, I was a little bit uncomfortable to see a romance between an high school student vs a college student, but sincerely, in perspective, the age difference between them is really not huge, Noey, the high schooler, in a way is more experienced than Thi, and all in all, they maintained the story on a very sweet level, just hinting but never going over. Once I understood it, I enjoyed seeing the funny courtship of Noey, and how little by little, a flustered Thi found himself falling for the younger boy. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss! (2022)

 Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss! was a funny, sweet, sweet comedy. Fukuhara Kota is your ordinary student, cute but very unlucky, but is happening to him has not destroyed his inner strength, he is still able to maintain his smile and to see the good things of life. On the opposite Shinomiya Naoya is very lucky, apparently has everything, but this has not spoiled his character, and he is indeed a good guy. When Shinomiya misunderstood Fukuhara's request to stay together, meaning near each other, as a request to be boyfriends, the kiss was unexpected but good, setting me in the mood for something more sexy to come... and instead nothing more. I'm disappointed? maybe a little, but the comedy that was delivered, and the cute interactions between the main male leads, were anyway worthy the watching. HEA. DNA Says Love You (2022)

 I have to admit that I wanted to like more DNA Says Love You, cause it has an important theme, but I sincerely wasn't able to fall for these characters, I think the leads were very good, but the story, and all the time spent researching the temple, I understood is a symbolic way to explain the soul search of the characters, but I found it too much. I would have prefer a more intimate and direct interaction between them, rather than trying to grasp the point through allegorism. But the theme of intersex characters is played in a delicate way, and it has an HEA, so I think this is a worthy series. You can see it on GagaOOLala, iQIYI and Viki. Heat Level: 2/6.

Wedding Plan (2023)

 I suppose I should like Wedding Plan a lot more considering there is a cameo of my preferred couple, Payu and Rain from Love in the Air, but sincerely, this series was just nice, and in comparison to Love in the Air, at the end I was just thinking, OK, nice job, what is next? Overall there is really nothing I can fault, Namnuea and Sailom are good characters, Sailom's courtship, despinte being apparently engaged, wasn't creepy, and indeed we soon understand that Sailom is not a cheater, so even the remorse in enjoying their story is soon overcome. Maybe I'm too harsh, and I should just be happy this is a nice comedy, no huge drama, HEA. You can see it on iQIYI. Heat Level: 5/6.

Unintentional Love Story (2023)

 Unintentional Love Story is very slow paced, but it's also quite sweet. Sure the thrope of the two falling in love despite the betrayal of one of them being the Pink Elephant in the Glass Room is ordinary, but the main actors are good enough to let me enjoy once again the story. No huge surprise here, but I liked how Yoon Tae Joon, despite being hurt by Ji Won Young's deception, is still willing to protect him. HEA. You can see it on iQIYI. Heat Level: 2/6.

The Day I Loved You (2023)

 Not sure I would recommend The Day I Loved You to all viewers, but kudos to the series for introducing a main character with a terminal illness, and not making it a tragedy. The story is actually sweet, and tender, and the final message is not Love will overcome everything, but probably just that Love will make your life, however long it will be, better. Eli and Nikko in the end are just kids, and they cannot find a solution to what is happening to Eli, but at least they can enjoy their love. It's an HEA, but we all know it will not last, but no one of us will have the courage to crush their love. Heat Level: 2/6.

Trillion Game (2023)

 Trillion Game is not BL but it's a bromance. Said that, if you ask me, the relationship between Haru and Gaku is way more satisfying than many romance I have seen. The sweet and proud glances that Haru dedicate to Gaku are worth more than one hundred heated kisses. And how Haru plays, but does not flirt, with the strong female character is one proof more that his only interest relies on Gaku. The story is of course exaggerated like many Japanese drama, and it's more comic than serious, nevertheless it was cute. HEA. You can see it on Netflix. Heat Level: 1/6.
