I fell in love with books at a young age, when my father read to me as I went to bed. Science fiction and fantasy were my treat when I was a good kid. It wasn't until later, when I could read on my own, that I fell in love with the preternatural scene. Vampires were my first love, and eventually I fell for werewolves too.

Before I knew it I was in love with every fantasy creature created, from the ancient gods of Rome to Bram Stoker's Dracula. The darker the tale, the more seductive it became to me. It wasn't long before I was writing my own stories.
