Hi! I'm a Georgia native, and an avid reader. If I'm not writing, I'm usually reading.

Born in the 1970s, I am an author with several novels and novellas published.

I have a Weird Western series, Brackett Hollister, as well as a horror series, The Game Warden of Black Swamp.

I have a short story collection published as well as several novellas in the Wayward Pines Universe which author Blake Crouch was nice enough to let me play in, as well as a novella in the Dead Man Universe thanks to author Lee Goldberg (Thanks, Guys!)

A stand alone horror novel, Sweetgum Ridge, is my darkest and most disturbing work to date so if you enjoy extreme horror that may be one for you.

I am always happy to answer questions and I love reading reviews of my work! P

I think it was just the fact that I loved the old Clint Eastwood westerns combined with the fact I'm a huge horror fan. It just seemed natural to me to meld the genres and come up with something (hopefully) that combines the best of the two. Plus there was an old western comic, Jonah Hex, that I read as a child that also lead to my love for the genre. I hope you enjoy my work and look forward to hearing your thoughts!(less)

This was the long anticipated crossover between The Sandman and Sandman Mystery Theatre, and while it was a cool story, it really wasn't much of a crossover. It was more a Theatre story with a Sandman cameo. I enjoyed it, and the set up was excellent ...more

Another good volume. This one was more straightforward for the most part, although there was a twist at the end that left me slightly confused. Overall this has been a very good series.

This is such a great series. In this volume we start to see versions of the JSA appear, as we get an Hourman appearance, although it's much different than the Hourman we know from the DCU. We also get a mad strangler story which shows the dark roots ...more

This was a well done collection of horror short stories. Even more impressive is the fact this collection was written by fairly "new" writers.

“The first time Mr. Darcy asked Lizzy to marry him in Pride and Prejudice, he went about it all wrong,” I started, smiling at the connection I’d just made in my mind. “He insulted her and her
family. But after her refusal, he made a conscious effort to change for the better, and everything worked out for them the second time he proposed. It’s the same with us. You learned from your past mistakes, and everything’s different now. Just as Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance, I’m going to do the same for you.”

“I’m glad that Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance.” He smiled at the comparison. “She was the only one for him. He would have been miserable without her.”

“And she would have been miserable without him.” I laughed. “Even though she might not have admitted it.”

Quentin Wallace Hi T.A. thanks for the message. Yeah I'm new to goodreads and wanted to start finding some friends so I thought kindle worlds authors would be a good place to start. Good luck with your future writing, I have another novel coming out hopefully the end of this month.

Cheers!
Quentin

message 1: by T.A.

T.A. Quentin, appreciate the contact. Most if not all other Kindle World authors won't respond to my extended generosities (as friend), so I have quit wasting my efforts to correspond. Maybe I need to change my deodorant!

As far as writing stories, I don't know what drives me. Can't be the money, Lord knows I'm always broke.

Sometimes I believe it's the pleasure of being understood. When the people leave a review and tell you it's all good.

But you know ... I know, you know; you're a writer too!

Best regards my friend;
T.A. Walters
