totally obsessed with this fantastic book about a fat black mexican wiccan teen resurrecting a bunch of girls while trying to solve a murder. zombies and great humor. (ownvoices for all of it!!!
It’s out in May with Razorbill and I suggest we hype this because ive legit never read anything so intersectional. Lots of extremely subtle nods to everyday bigotry, plus a genius story. Plus twists. Plus a nice m/f romance.

QUEER LATINOS AND YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE ZINEHere is a Zine I made for class about queer Latinos in YA. It touches on Chicano/Latino history as well as overall Queer Lit. It’s not perfect and it mainly focuses on cisgender Chicano/Puerto Rican characters but that’s mainly due to the lack of representation. Anyway, take a look!

Okay, so.
Everyone is rightfully frustrated about yet another letdown regarding lgbt rep in Harry Potter. I’m not going to talk about it, because frankly people smarter and better than me are doing that/have done that.
What I am here to say, is that at some point, you gotta accept that the heartache is greater than the joy and fun you are having, and walk away. I have done this with numerous shows, books, movies, etc. When all it does it let you down, say fuck it and go. Ther...
Let's do the time warp again!
Well, the cat is out of the back, so to speak. This August, readers will finally get the exciting conclusion to my 2016 novel, In the Present Tense, the Foreword INDIES Book of the Year bronze winner for Science Fiction.
Past Imperfect picks up where Present Tense left off: with Miles and Bethany on the run from Dr. Branagan, while Miles continues to sort out his feelings for Adam. This time around, though, we get Bethany’s point of view as she grapples with schizophrenia-induced time travel...
