Holy Bananas!

My second draft of my manuscript is done! I just need to read through it one more time, and then it’s off to the editor.

Holy crap … this is like happening and stuff!

Hello there!

carriepack:

If you’re reading this, that means you’ve found my author’s blog. Congratulations! Have a seat; I’ll pour you a cup of coffee.

My first novel will be published by interludepress this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited. I wish I could share the title, plot and cover with you, but it’s not done cooking yet. I will say that my book should be in the next round of titles they announce, and you will likely be able to hear my shriek all the way from America’s Wang when it is made publi...

Hi! I was just wondering if you have any tips for writing a narrative. I am used to writing scientific papers and information/analysis essays. Both with their own unique style, but nevertheless different than a narrative story or any sort of fiction. I find writing narrative the most challengi...

I found this video on my laptop from about a year and a half ago.

At this point I was really introspective about my career and I had begun to realize I wanted to make writing my full-time job. I just wasn’t ready to talk about it, and I didn’t know how to get started.

Thanks to interludepress and a lot of gumption on my part, my dream is finally becoming a reality. Thanks Annie, Lex, and Girlie for making it happen!
