Some people think it���s made of ice.
I have a dear friend who thinks I live in one.
I don���t. My house (not made of ice) is a small ranch style without a garage and it’s seldom covered in ice.

B is for Book
B is for books of which I own lots. I have my favorites like Anne McCaffrey, Robert Asprin, Grace Livingston Hill. I also have hundreds of lesser-known favorites. F. M. Buzby comes to mind. He wrote a disturbing, heartfelt, twisted sci-fi romance that sticks in my head today (His Rissa series). I���m also a huge Patricia Wrede fan. Her Enchanted Forest Chronicles (Soon to be out in Kindle) got my son through the seventh grade. It���s a huge book (4 tiny books put together). My son carried to school every day for a solid year. He lived in that world. I don���t blame him; it���s a very fun world to live in. I also enjoy her Sorcery and Cecelia (the Enchanted Chocolate Pot) books. I���ve complete shelves of Heinlein, Elizabeth Moon, and Anne McCaffrey.
Yes, they each have their own shelf and in the case of McCaffrey, she has two.
Each series, each book meant something to my former self. I grew up reading these books, and they have shaped my writing, some more than others. I���ve lived in their land, breathed as their characters breathed and fell in love.
B is also for a book dear to my heart. Skydreamer.�� A book that took me years to write, a book that is infinitely dear to my heart and a book that is now booking blog tours.

A is for Anxious
A is for Anxiousness.
Free dictionairy hints that Anxiousness can be used as a synonmym of eager.
Eager is definitely how I feel. In less than two months, Skydreamer becomes a reality.
A story that started with a spoiled little princess changed over the years to a story about a girl allergic to water.
So yes, A is for anxiousness. I���m anxious for people to like it, anxious to see how it does in this big big world and anxious to make my publisher proud.

How did you come up with your story concept?
Claire Gillian:
We’ve been led astray by our car’s GPS quite a few times. On a recent trip, the device was obnoxiously persistent in trying to get us to take a certain route. Hubby and I believed the thing might be sentient and began talking to it, even naming it.
Katrina Sizemore:
I wanted to write a friends to lovers story based in a coffee shop, where the guy is just looking to cheer her up as a friend, even though he’s totally been crushing on her for years. It just struck me as a very sweet tale that I wanted to play with.
S.L. Hughson:
Usually unrelated things snap together to give me an idea for a story. This was different. I saw the call for submissions, decided I wanted to shoot for a NA story, and wrote down three ���accidental��� situations. The conflict for ���Dream Architect��� blossomed once I began brainstorming.
A few blurbs from that brainstorming session: ���she wants to get away from her family; he doesn���t have time for a relationship. He needs a job and she wants his college life.��� So they are drawn together by deeper needs and desires ��� but with different goals, their conflict is birthed effortlessly.
Jaylee Austin:
The idea of asking for a date on a Blog Post intrigued my interest in figuring out what might happen if someone actually answered the blog. My partner and I have a wonderful eclectic group of friends with varying personalities. Needless to say one of our kids friends has this unique charisma of wildness in a sweet loving way. So I focused on the contrast of layers found within a person. Between these two ideas the story developed into One Hot Angel.
Wendy Sparrow:
I wanted a very unlikely love interest and I have a soft place in my heart for geeks. Once I���d decided I wanted my hero to be a paleontologist���the story wrote itself.
