Inspired by Jeff Bridges mountains of plastic video: Recycle
I finally got over to St Pete’s drop off recycling center. Eight minutes from my house, there’s a drive through for household chemicals. I saw a woman dropping off an old printer there. The swell volunteer pointed me over to these giant bins for paper, plastic and glass. On the way I passed by the “Swap Store.” After the 2 second procedure of dropping my small mountain of glass and paper and plastic off, I swung back over to the store. IT WAS LIKE THE WORLD’S AWESOMEST LIBRARY. Only I didn’t need a card and I don’t need to return anything, unless I don’t use it. In which case I know just what to do. #Florida, if you haven’t been to your recycling center, now’s the time. I picked up the lithium grease I need for my sliding doors and some paint to do some touch up work.
Feel like a rock star.
