Learn Korean Ep. 104: “To End up Doing” 게 되다
I can't believe I hadn't already made a video about ~게 되다 - that's how important and common this grammar form is. You can use this form to show that something "ends up" happening a certain way, as well as in many other situations.
Remember that each "Learn Korean" episode comes with a free PDF which you can download below the video link right in this post.
Thanks for watching~!

How to Get Good Lighting for Videos | Billy Backstage
I want to make an episode in this series once every 2-3 months or so (not frequently) to show how I make my videos and what goes on behind the scenes. For this video we'll talk about lights and lighting (as well as lighting vocabulary in Korean). I'm not a pro at lighting or making videos compared to others, but I've learned many things over the past 6 years and want to share some of them with you.
If there's anyone watching who's a pro at these things, please do give me some tips. I'm always trying to improve.
There are also links to everything mentioned in the video in the description.

Want your Korean to sound more like a native? You'll need to learn current Korean language trends, and know how to use them appropriately. So I started this new series called "Korean Language Trends" to show what's currently trending in the Korean language and help keep you up to date.
Today's first language trend is 워라밸. You can use this word in your Korean sentences just like in the example sentences I give in the video.

Korean FAQ – Is June 유월 or 육월? Is October 시월 or 십월?
Why is June 유월, and not 육월? And why is October 시월, and not 십월? It would make more sense for them to be 육월 and 십월 due to 6 being 육 and 10 being 십, right? Well, not really.
There's a reason why these words are the way they are, and it has to do with them being easier to say that way. Find out more in detail~

Tasting Korea’s Spicy Chicken Feet | 닭발
Chicken feet?! I'd heard that Korea sold chicken feet many years ago as a popular snack - served spicy - but didn't know it was actually a "thing" that young people enjoyed... until my good friend 소영 told me it was one of her favorite foods! I couldn't believe it. So since I'd never tried it and wasn't even sure what to expect, I told her we should go eat it together and make a video about it.
What should I try next with 소영? Would you ever try chicken feet?
