Man Of The World

As a  "Man of the World," or really just a guy who sits in front of his television set all the time,watching TV shows from other countries,like Taiwan's  "It Started With A Kiss," Japan's "Crazy For You," and Canada's "Little Mosque On The Prairie." (Those are just examples.)  I find myself enjoying, how other countries see  Americans. I know,  Canadians are  Americans too! So don't yell at me. I recently went back to one of the video streaming sites out of  China that I know of,  (Video.qq) which I haven't been to for awhile.I was kind of amazed by what I saw. The first thing that popped out at me was that they no longer have advertisement from theUnited States.I am sure it has a lot to do with theWorld Pandemicwe are inbut there used to be a lot forAmerican TV andAmerican Products.They still are showingHollywood MoviesandHBO TV Showsbut without the labels showing who produced them.Everything is labeled inMandarin.  I really hope this pandemic shows the world that we are all in this together,no matter who you areor where you are fromand it brings us closes together as a species.

I Need My F1 Racing

I just cannot take it any longer.I was sure it was going to beValtteri Bottas'syear to win the F1 World Championship!I Need My F1 Racing!If you are an avid follower like me,even watching old races helps with the quarantine.Here are 2 races that last about 2 hours each,but it's all good.Need more?So do I.I don't know how long I will be able to keep these up untilF1tells me to take them down so enjoy them while you can.

What Is Your Routine?

I wake up between 5:30 to 6:00 a.m. everyday.Not because I want to,because of being in the work force for almost 40 years!I do my morning constitution,wash my hands,and brush my teeth.Since I am the only one up during this time I venture over to my couchand look at my phone.The 1st thing I do is play 3 rounds of F1 Manager .Then I'll fix myself some breakfastand turn on my computer.While eatingand waiting for the computer to boot up I'll get in 3 rounds of Boggle . My eldest daughter got me hooked on this gameand she doesn't even play it any longer.Then I'll check the viewership numbers on myBlog,while sitting there hoping I come up with an idea to write about today.Discouraged,I'll go for my 2 mile walk I do everyday,listening to one of my favoritePodcasts.Hoping I come up with an idea worth writing about.When I get back home I'll play 3 rounds of Angry Birds 2 .Afterwards I'll sitand write the first thing to comes to mind on thisBlog.Finished,I'll check out someNews Sitesso I can compare the different alternative facts they all giveand make a decision for myself what is the truth.After that I'll eat again,and boy am I gaining a lot of weight!Then my routine starts all over again.Not with walking, listening to podcasts, or reading news stories on the computer.No,my routine is to play 3 more rounds each ofF1 Manager,Boggle,andAngry Birds 2. I Am So Bored! This is,  Asking You How You Are Handling The Quarantine?Jim Hauenstein,
This is the first time I am happy that my kids still at home are in their rooms playing games on their computers for 8 hours a day.Otherwise they would be outside.

I Never Said I Was A Brave Man

You know it's hard living this way.It's hard for everyone around the world.I've tried listening to music,to different podcasts,going for my daily walks with social distancing,but there are always constant reminders out there with everything I do.After being quarantined for so long,I need a haircutand a trim of my beard.My barbershop is closedand I hope he can weather the storm.Hope to see you soonJ's Barber Shop. So,the only thing I know that could possibly cheer me up is to do something drastic.I am going to completely shave off my beardand hair,

Bald And Beautiful

History has shown since the time ofBenjamin Franklin'sprinting press inBoston,Political Cartoons & Satirehas been a"Main Stay"for humor.And I am not talking about the foremast on a sailing ship here either.Get it,"Main Stay."It's part of a sailing ship.Okay,some jokes just aren't that funny.But,is there a place in our laugh box for observational humor as well?That is the question I would like to explore today. By this picture alone,you might think I would try to make fun of ancient man wearing dresses.
But it is the head we are talking about. Or that men were pretty girlie when fashion consisted of adding a feather whenever you could. These are not the sarcastic points of view I am going for,as you observe this quick history of fashion. There is a stigma forMen,just like there has always been forWomen. Men'sbald heads are ugly compared to aWoman's
beautiful locks of hair
so we naturally cover it up!

And besides,Godmade a lot of beautiful heads in thisWorld,but the ones he didn't like,he covered up!
