Remember The Handshake?

Remember when?When people actually touched each other when they met?Grabbing each other's hand as a sign of greetings?I know,right?How unsanitary!Don't even get me started on thoseFrench Peoplewho kiss each other's cheeks all the time.That is putting spit in all the wrong places!But I was talking about hands. How Can I Help?

I know it has been awhile since I wrote something.Earlier in the quarantine I have tried to keep things upbeatand humorous.Then I wrote about a few topics I found interesting.You see,I was trying to stay away from talking about the pandemic since I figured everyone gets enough information about it in their own wayor that you might be tired of hearing about it.But I feel it has come to the point where I need to say something.*****During a crisis you will find there are 3 types of people.First,there are people who will who will say,"I don't care what happens to other people as long as it doesn't affect me."Second,there are are people who will think,"How can I rip people off and make money off of this?"Third,there are people who will ask,"How can I help?"  I want to thank all the people who are,Police Officers,Firemen,Paramedics,Nurses,Doctors,Truckers,Farmers,Groceries Employees,in theFood Services,working atFood Processing Plants,handing out food atFood Banks,and all theEssential Workers,everywhere,Worldwide!Thank You!

Just The Facts

I didn't write anything yesterday because it was family day in our household.My youngest turned 21 years old.I amIrish & Germanand we sadly missed out on a family tradition going back a least a couple of generations because of the quarantine.I wasn't able to take my son out to a bar

Today,more than ever,we need more positivity in our lives while while we are in quarantine.FromNews Organizations,TV Shows,Movies,Peer Pressure,toBullying On Social Media,and everything in between,today's society seems filled with gloomy,depressing,and hopeless situations.It my day,bullying only came from our older siblings
or from the toughest guy in school.Today there are many more ways to bully someoneand they can hide behind the mask of anonymity from the internet.I always told my kids when they were growing up to always stay positive.Misery loves companyand people always love to see you fail rather then help you succeed.The people who do help you are your true friendsand family. VR Spacewalk

Last night I got a chance to use my daughter'sOculus VR Headsetand I took a trip into outer space.Actually,according to the game,BBC Home VR Spacewalk, I was doing a spacewalk 25 miles above the Earth.
Talking about having vertigo!

I had enough!I cannot take it anymore.Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! That isn't me of course.That isJanet LeighfromAlfred Hitchock'soriginal version of the moviePsycho.Why am I screaming you ask?Last night I watched an episode ofRob Riggle: Global Investigatorand he had on his show one of thoseGhost Hunters.I appreciate the fact thatRob Riggle'sshow is supposed to be on the humorous side of investigating historical legendsand he doesn't take it seriously.Now raise your hand if you have watched one of these shows where people say they can huntGhostsand travel around the world doing so.That many huh?Did you ever see these guys & gals go toThe Island Of The Dolls?  Supposedly,it all started when a little girl drowned in the riverand the owner of the island found her doll.People around the area started dropping dolls in the water because of their superstitionand the island owner would fetch them out of the river,hanging them anywhere he could.When theseGhost Huntersdo an investigation there,one of the techniques they use is asking theGhostwho it isand what does it want.The island is nearMexico Cityand these people ask theGhosttheir questions inEnglish! Rob Riggle was told to talk to theGhostof aRoman Soldierand he asked his questions inEnglishnotLatin!  I guess theAfterlifehas a built inTranslatorso everyone can understandENGLISH!
