5 Best Posts Of November One Day Before It's Over!

One of my Followers, who has, unfortunately, once again fallen back into disarray because her old habits are hard to break, told me last month that my readers should be the ones who vote for, "The 5 Best Posts Of The Month." It sounded like a good idea at the time, so I'll give it a try. (Side note. I pray she will come to her senses, because she lost her true friends, by going back to her Street Scams.) I couldn't really set up an election to vote on something like this, since people would take days, or even weeks before they voted. So the best way to do it, I feel, is by the statistics. Because the Stats don't lie. Actually, if you have ever taken a business course, they teach you how to askew the numbers, to make them look anyway you like. That's why it takes so long for Brokers to get caught after you've fallen for their Ponzi Scheme. (That seems to be an idea for another Post on another day.) Unlike last month, where I wrote the  Top Five Pots in no particular order, we are going to let the Stats pick the order. The Fifth most popular Post of November is: The Kiss. A fictional tale, where I try to put a bug into the brains of Hypochondriacs by talking about an actual insect that can carry a fatal disease. The insect is called The Kissing Bug. The Fourth most popular Post of November is: εγγαστριμυθία. Which is Greek and stands for Ventriloquism. Another fictional tale, where I tell how the art of being a Ventriloquist, was started as a Religion and the original followers were known as Gastromancers. The Third most popular Post of November is: The Derriere. Where I tell the true story of my three youngest children, when all three were still in diapers. It was Baby Humor at its best. I wouldn't want to ruin the ending for you by explaining it here, so I guess you'll have to read the Post. We have a Tie for the number Two and number One Spot with: Did It Hear Me? and What Do You Believe? Did It Hear Me is the fictional tale, from the perspective of a mouse. After I trapped one, one evening and disposed of it. I sat down a wrote how Giants ruined his life. What Do You Believe is my Philosophy on Guardian Angels, that our Life Force or Soul is made out of pure Energy, and that Energy can't be destroyed. So when we die, that Energy or Soul changes into another form where we become Angels.

Fever

Sorry about not writing today. I know a few of you can't sleep at night unless you read my Blog, but even I sometimes fall under the spell of sickness. I had a high fever today which has subsequently subsided. But I do have some good news to point out before I go back to sleep. One, which effects everyone's future is, "Trump drops 12 percentage points in poll: Reuters/Ipsos" by Alan Wise for Reuters. And that was in one week! I knew Americans had it in them to be intelligent. The second good news I like to point out is about one of my readers, who after a long layoff, just got his job back this week. Way to go Johnny, I hope things keep turning in your favor.

εγγαστριμυθία

Ever since men and women began using their vocal cords for naming people, places, and things, instead of only grunting at one another, there has been a growing religious Cult that exists to this very day. The religious prophets of this Cult are said to be able to speak to the dead, as well as foretell the future. One of the earliest recorded Prophets to utilize a technique called,
Gastromancing,
was the Pythia. The Priestess at the temple of Apollo in Delphi. She acted as the conduit for the Delphic Oracle. During this time in History, they became known in Greece as the Gastromancers. (εγγαστριμυθία)
One of the most successful early Gastromancers was Eurykles or Eurycles of Athens. (Depending on which website you are doing your research from, the spelling of his name differs.)
Eurykles became so popular during his lifetime, that his followers were called, Euryklides, Eurycleides, or Engastrimanteis. The “Belly Prophets!" In the middle ages the practice of Gastromancy was thought to be Witchcraft, hence the reason the Cult went underground. To protect their Believers from persecution. But now, a few have chosen to rise above the Catacombs of the religious underworld. To brandish their Secret Cult Ways by means of the Entertainment World! You might recognize their leader. he uses the Latin terms for his craft. Venter, meaning belly, and Loqui, meaning to speak. The "Belly Prophets" have arisen once again and go by the name, "Ventriloquists!" And Jeff Dunham is there Spiritual Leader!

The Kiss

I was afraid this was going to happen. You remember the dream you had last night? Don't you? Or you thought it was a dream. A hazy figure, lightly touching your cheek. So soft,
but also pointy. You imagined it could have been,
sharpened fingernails caressing your skin, of a petite manicured women. The movement was sometimes circular, sometimes tapping straight across, from one cheek to the other. Then the taps slow down, inching closer, ever closer to your lips. You feel it as sensual, enjoyable. The tapping stops. That's when you realize there are six set of fingernail tips contacting  your chin and lower lip. You know inside your dream something is wrong. Will this feeling go away or is there something to be suspicious of? You quickly sit up in bed and slap away at your lower lip! It wasn't the voluptuous kiss you were expecting in your dream. Whatever was crawling on your face bit your lower lip. Oh no! It was a bite from the Triatominae! THE KISSING BUG! They carry the American Trypanosomiasis. A tropical parasitic disease caused by the Protozoan Trypanosoma Cruzi. Better known as the Chagas Disease. Your symptoms will change over the course of the infection. In the early stage, your symptoms are typically either asymptomatic, (not present) or mild, so be warned. Still, it may include a fever, swollen lymph nodes, headaches, or local swelling at the site of the bite. After 8 to 12 weeks, if you don't seek treatment, you'll enter the chronic phase of disease, in which your heart rhythm may have abnormalities that will cause your sudden death. If you survive the early phases of the disease, when you believe your health has gotten better, you'll develop further symptoms 10 to 30 years after the initial infection! Including enlargement of the ventricles of the heart, leading to heart failure. A dilated heart that doesn’t pump blood well. Or an enlarged esophagus or an enlarged colon, leading to difficulties with eating or passing stool. Why didn't you wake up in time? Why? Wait, what? You don't believe this can possibly happen to you? OK, try not to think about it tonight before you go to bed. I dare you. If you think it's just a case of a little bed bug biting you, fine. See what I care. It may not have happen last night, but remember when,
that one night?

Standing Up For Yourself

How you can stop being abused by businesses.Stand up for yourself. As simple as that.My kids, over the years, have been embarrassed by some of the actions I have taken to getgood service,a bargain,a good price,or get my money back when I've been over charged. All the Companies I mention here I believe are good quality Companies except for one. That one will be mentioned last. Now,I am advised not to mention any Corporation,in case they would get wind of my little Blog here, and get some big shot Lawyer talking to a Judge to have me close up shop. But here are some of the actions I've taken to get my money backor get quality service.I add up my receipts outside the establishment I was just at to make sure I didn't get cheated.A local grocery store paid me back the dollar they over chargedand gave me a loaf of Italian Bread they make daily. In restaurants,(I usually check at the table.)I've been givenCompsbecause waiters try to sneak extra charges on my bill.I've went to the corporate website of a sandwich shop because the person taking my order was rudeand messed up my order.(The manager of the store in question actually called me two days later, asking when I could come in for a free meal on them.)I return items to groceries storesand department stores for myselfand my kids.(They appreciate me now.) I called up,directly,to a game console'sCorporate Officeto get a refund on a game that I was billed for twice.I go toTV Network Websiteseither to complainor compliment their service. And when I do get good service lately,I like to say,"I'll Yelp you later!"

Hurry Up With The Election Already!

Once again,I'm writing aboutDonald Trumpand his erroneous statements he makes about minorities. At a Birmingham,Alabama rally,he defended his hateful rhetoric, when he claimedUnited States Muslimscheered the 9/11 attacks!I'm sure they were over joyed by the deaths of hundreds ofMuslimskilled during the 9/11 attacks too! What a buffoon.During the same rally,a black protester, was too loud for his liking,so he felt that"Maybe he should have been roughed up" by the white audience members. Story by Glenn Kessler for The Washington Post and rewritten on MSN News by Jenna Johnson & Mary Jordan.Am I the only one who sees a correlation between, what he is doing, andAdolf Hitler?George Stephanopoulosdid an interview with Trump today asking him about his statement on the U.S. Muslims, where the authorities clearly state that no Muslims cheered during the 9/11 attacks. But,Donald Trumpcontinued his hateful rhetoric,so he can stir the pot of prejudice, and win the vote of the fearful bigots from theTea Party.I'm giving you theTea Party's link, not to help them in their cause, but to show you what a thin line it is between theTea Partyand theKu Klux Klan!I'm hoping the United States has grown from the days of protesting against discriminationand realizes what made this Country great in the first place,is that we are a melting pot for all of the differentRaces of the World!

What Do You Believe?

My eldest daughter, when she was almost four years old, used to talk to her biological father,
even though he had passed away. When she would start talking to him herAunts,Uncles, andCousinswould stay away from her.BeingPacific-Islanders,they still believed in superstitions which have been passed down fromgeneration to generation, even after four hundred years of being predominatelyCatholic. One Aunt actually told me that my daughter was being possessed!I,on the other hand, thought it was fascinatingand was the only person in the family that would come up to herand ask her,"What are you doing?"She would tell meand point out where her biological father was sitting.I remember telling her, that she should tell her father, that I was going to take care of her nowand that I would do the best that I could. She told me,he knows. This wonderful relationship she had with him did not last very long,as her Motherand our two oldest sons, kept telling her to stop talking to him.So eventually, she did.I know,non-believers will tell you it was just the imagination of a little girl.I can understand because, when I was little,I had an imaginary friend called Jason.I was scared to let anyone know in case they would laugh at meand I would look foolish. Still,to this day, even though I'm not a practicing religious person,I try to pray everydayor night to thank myPersonal Lordfor all that he has given me,all that he is giving me,and all that he will give me.Then I say hiand thank the people in my life who have passed away, that I still love.I thank them for watching over me.If it wasn't for those people who have died before meand my belief of aHigher Power,I don't know what would have happened to me in life.I'm pretty sure I would never have had the chance to raiseSeven Beautiful Childrenwhom I love!
