One of my favorite boos in this collection for 99¢ – Limited Time!

99¢ Feel Good Beach Romance Collection!

Only 99¢ The Beach with a Billionaire Collection: 6 Sweet Christian Contemporary Romances

You know that, as an author, I have MANY favorite books that I’ve written. This might seem like I’m bias—but I LOVE my books:)….Hahaha, probably because I get so caught in up their lives and the funny things they do or say.

But—The Dream Groom—stands out as one of my VERY favorites of all time.

And that one is in this 99¢ Collection today.

I think the biggest reason I really like the Dream Groom—is because Scar, the main character, is so broken. He is a professional football player who is more of a practice dummy—in the moment of this book. He got taken out of being a SEAL because of an injury. His family is a mess, etc. But—in this book—he meets back up with his brother and has a lot of healing. I love that.

Plus—he meets Shayla—who he affectionately calls Kansas.—And—she’s out in CA waitressing and pursuing her dream.

—When she has a stalker—it gets Scar all worked up and it’s so fun to watch how he wants to protect her.

Enjoy this whole collection!

Excerpt from The Dream Groom:
Her phone rang. Without looking, she knew who it would be as she answered. “Hello?”

Hesitation. “Hey.”

It was funny to her that there was a familiarity already. “I don’t even know your name.”

“I know,” he said. “I don’t know yours either. I’ve named you Kansas in my head.”

Liking that he’d been thinking of her, she smiled. “My name’s Shayla Castle.”

“Okay, your real name doesn’t disappoint either.”

This pleased her, which was stupid. “Okay, so what’s yours?”

“Brandon Walker. My friends call me Scar.”

She bit back the obvious question. “Your name is nice, too.”

“Another story for another night,” he said.

“What?”

“You want to know about my scar. I’ll tell you another time.”

It put her on edge thinking this would be a normal thing, them talking. She hated how much she actually liked that idea.

He let out a quick exhale. “I wanted to check on you. How’s it going?”

“Thanks. I’m fine. You could have texted.”

“Nah. We have this thing happening.” His voice was soft.

“We do?” She found herself smiling.

“Yeah, we do.”

Neither of them spoke for a few seconds.

“Well, thank you,” she said, her heart pounding. The mystery of that scar still taunted her.

“What are you doing?” His words were stilted, and his discomfort made her relax more.

“I’m arguing the merits or justification that Juliet had for killing herself when she thought Romeo was dead.”

For a beat, he didn’t answer, like he was weighing his response on his tongue. “She was stupid. Plain and simple. Life is precious. Killing herself was a huge waste.”

Shayla disagreed. “She was in love. She was heartbroken.”

He barked out a laugh. “Life is worth more than love. She was reckless. She was too young to be messing around with a thug like Romeo. He shouldn’t have married her in the middle of the night. He would have gotten his throat cut if her father had known. That’s why he did it in the cloak of darkness.”

That was a valid argument, actually. She smiled. “Cloak of darkness, really? Should I put that in my paper?”

“Hey, I won’t complain if you feel the need to quote me.” His voice had gone husky.

Intrigued, she pushed aside her laptop and leaned against the back of her bed, thinking how this was getting interesting. “Why can’t you tell me about the scar now?”

He sighed. “You have no filter, do you, Kansas?”

The way he said “Kansas” sounded so good. Feeling a bit bad, she shook her head. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. Seriously, another night. Let’s talk about your paper.”

“Sure.” She went back to the topic, even though she really wanted to know now. “Juliet had pledged her dying love to Romeo. Juliet trusted Romeo.”

“Still stupid and childish.”

“Was it? Because by Romeo’s actions we see that Romeo loved and trusted Juliet. He didn’t let it stand. She didn’t die by herself. He died too.”

He grunted. “So sacrifice for love is always worth it?”

“Always,” she said softly, feeling more convinced as she said it. “That’s why it was pretty awesome you jumped in to help me even though I don’t deserve it and you didn’t know me.”

“But I didn’t love you,” Scar pointed out. He said it so bluntly, she was thrown off balance. “I jumped in because I believe in humanity, goodness, honor, and duty.”

She found herself liking this man. A lot. “Love of country before love of self.”

“You do what’s right because it’s the right thing to do,” he said. “I had SEAL guys who proved that to me. Over and over.”

Her respect for him went up a notch. “You’re a SEAL?”

He cleared his throat. “Was. Got shot. Discharged with honors. I had the option of being regular military but turned it down.”

“What do you do currently?”

“Play football for the Texas Titans.”

This was unreal. She wasn’t really into football, but Jason had loved the Titans. “You play professional football?”

He scoffed. “I pretty much just get throttled most of the time. I’m on the practice team.”

She considered what SEALs did, then tried to imagine what it was like on the practice team. “So you’re obviously masochistic.”

He laughed.

“What are you doing in San Diego?”

He cleared his throat. “I’m actually in San Diego for three to four weeks working on a project to design a facility for military vets. It’s a program that focuses on helping vets through sparring. There will also be counselors to help them and a coffee shop where they can hang out. No one would show up just to be psychoanalyzed, but if we can get them in for sparring and socializing, we can really help the ones who need it.”

She cleared her throat. “I have to admit I’m a bit intimidated by you.”

“No,” he said, sounding shocked. “Don’t be.”

“How old are you?” she blurted, regretting the words as soon as they tumbled out. “Sorry, the no filter thing.” She cringed, knowing she sounded like an idiot and was grateful for the distance of the telephone while talking to him.

“Ah, you’re breaking my heart already, Shayla.”
Her heart rate kicked up a notch. Was he going to answer the question?

“I’m twenty-eight,” he said. “How old are you?”

“Twenty-one.”

He sighed. “Is that okay with you?”

Feeling uncertain, she said, “Yeah, that’s fine. I mean, whatever. It’s not like we’re dating or anything.”

He chuckled, a wonderful sound. “That dispels any intentions I had.”

Butterflies rushed through her and she knew she’d be blushing. Checking the time, she saw it was almost eleven-thirty. “I gotta go. Paper is due by midnight, and I still have to finish it.”

“Okay,” he said. “Can we talk tomorrow?”

Happiness surged through her. She pushed it away, not wanting to think it meant anything. He was way too old for her. “Sure.”

“Well, then, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”

**Excerpt:**
It was fun to flirt. “Is this your act? The mysterious cowboy from out of town.”

“What would I need an act for?”

That made her smile. He was confident enough that he didn’t understand why he would pretend to be anything but himself. “An act for the ladies. To make them interested in you. Don’t they have, like, a whole dating system built around being all mysterious? I think I watched a Netflix documentary on it.”

He chuckled. “I wouldn’t know the first thing about that. But—not to change topics—you like watching documentaries about dating?”

She laughed. “No. I mean, yes. There was this whole thing with a guy I follow who was in it, so I guess I did watch a documentary on dating.”

He leaned in, putting his elbows on the table as he grabbed another chip. “I watch documentaries on animals and the world wars and stupid stuff with my brothers all the time. Random things like snakes and conspiracies.”

She had no desire to talk about dating, so she pounced on this new topic. “What conspiracies?”

He took a bite of the chip. “There’s this one about Rattlesnake Ranch in Utah. A guy did a whole documentary on it. It delves into the supernatural. He brought this team together, and they studied these crazy incidents that have happened where all the machines on the farm have been moved. They found old body remains in a basement and stuff like that.” He looked a tad embarrassed. “Not that I believe that stuff, but it’s fun to watch.”

“I’ve never heard of that documentary.”

“You should watch it.”

She grinned. “Maybe. So tell me more about your family.”

“You want to hear about my five crazy brothers and my little sister?”

“That is a big family.”

“Yes, it is.”

“You met Frankie and his bad attitude. I think I deserve to hear about your crazy brothers.”

Blaze laughed. “I don’t know why Frankie doesn’t like me.”

“He doesn’t like anyone.”

“I can understand that. He’s protective of his sister.”

She nodded, conceding to that idea. “A bit more than protective, I would say, but yes.”

“That would be okay if I was a psycho, but he treated me like I should be put in jail for parking in his spot.”

She giggled. “Don’t worry about Frankie. He’s always been suspicious of people, and he likes to start a fight.”

“Thanks. But I won’t lie. Going into that café is intimidating.”

“Yet I still saw you today.”

His eyes turned serious. “Maybe I don’t go for your brother.”

There it was: electricity and attraction pulsing through her. She couldn’t help but twirl a strand of hair around her finger. She didn’t know what to say. “Well, the coffee is good.”

Blaze cocked an eyebrow. “Yeah, but there are lots of places I could get coffee.”
Fine. If this man wanted to tango, then she would tango. “Then why do you go?”
He hesitated, and he was saved by the server putting their food on the table. Her meal was steaming, but she wasn’t just happy about the food. Blaze wasn’t as calm and collected as he appeared to be.

The server asked if they needed anything else, and when both of them said no, she left them to it.

Eden took a bite of her food and closed her eyes for a second. “It’s as good as I remember.” Her eyes flashed open and met his. He hadn’t taken a bite yet; he was only staring at her. “What?”

“Nothing. It’s just nice to see a woman enjoying her food.”

She couldn’t help but smile. It was stupid how silly she felt on this date. Everything the man said made her want to laugh. It was like when she’d had Tony with her.
No. She wouldn’t compare everything to Tony. That wasn’t healthy.

“What?”

She took another bite. “Nothing.”

He hesitated and then took a bite of his food. “I don’t know your expressions very well, but your face changed for a second.”

“I just love this food,” she said, uncomfortable that he’d noticed. “That’s all.”

He nodded and then smiled at her. “This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had.”
She nodded in agreement and continued to eat. “I’m starving. I guess doing animal surgery makes you hungry.” She didn’t mention that it was easy for her not to eat. So many times over the past year, her mother had told her she needed to eat more because she looked like a skeleton. She frowned. “I wonder how Shaggy is doing.”

Blaze took a sip. “He’ll be fine, but let’s check in on him tomorrow.”

She liked that he talked about them doing it together. “Uh, yeah.”

“Okay, I shared about Rattlesnake Ranch. Why don’t you tell me about some conspiracy you know about?” He gestured to her with his fork. “Unless you want to talk about the dating documentary again.”

“No. I don’t.” She laughed again. “I will think of some conspiracy to tell you. In the meantime, tell me what you’re doing until Saturday when the horse guy gets in town to meet with you.”

“Actually, this is what I’m doing. I mean,” he said, a slight smile on his lips, “if you’ll let me, I’ll hang out with you.”

The tension between them grew thick. Was he hitting on her? She looked down at her food. “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean.”

“Did that make you uncomfortable? I’m sorry. I just meant maybe you’d want to go to dinner tomorrow. I’m sure you’re working, but we could do something if you’re not.”
“I’m not,” she said quickly. His words were exactly what she’d needed to hear. The event was tomorrow night with everyone from the University of Kentucky. Everyone she didn’t want to see. Plus, Sharon had everything handled anyway, so she really didn’t need to be there. “Working, I mean.” She felt herself blush. She cleared her throat and stared into his aqua eyes. “I mean, I’d love to hang out. I could show you around, but I don’t know what you like to do.” She really didn’t want to take him to the places she and Tony used to go.

“Hiking,” he said. “I’d like to go hiking if you want to.”

As each sibling finds their way home to South Port and the Stone Family Inn, they will deal with past hurts, let forgiveness into their hearts, and have a second chance at love.

Trey Stone’s only goal was to get it sold and get back to doing what he’s always done; being a Navy SEAL.

Ava Jamison hasn’t been back to South Port since her father passed, but her recent divorce and wanting stability for her sixteen-year-old son, has given her a longing for home. She’s prepared to buy the old Stone Mansion and she delights in turning it into an Inn where other families can have the same good memories she’s always had.

When Trey puts a stop to the sell of the beach house and demands to know why she’s divorced, it starts a fire burning deep within her she hasn’t felt for a long, long time. Hopefully the man will get out of her way before she does something really, really stupid like kiss him. Whoops, too late.

Eventually Trey concedes to a partnership of sorts and they find themselves working side by side to restore his family home.

The same Tim Tucker who had broken her heart.

It had been a rough two years for Tim. After losing his wife to cancer, he didn't like the looks of pity that people in the town seemed to give him. He was the sheriff for heaven's sake, not to mention an ex marine; hard was part of his life. But hard gets dissolved quickly when he finds himself in Kensi's presence. The trouble is the woman is still punishing him for the stupid thing he'd said to her all those years ago. The stupid thing was, he'd thought he'd been protecting her.

As the six Stone siblings find a way back to each other, they must learn to let go of what doesn’t matter and cling to the things their parents always wanted for them; family, love, and fun memories on the beach.

A man who’s been left at the altar. A woman who doesn’t need any help! Will they give each other a second chance?

From kindle all-star, Taylor Hart! The South Port Beach Series!

Too bad that getting left at the altar and grounded from flying makes him question himself. But, he's fine. More than fine. Coming back to South Port to help with the Family Inn is easy work until he runs into Kat Dixon. The girl who had once been his best friend, until she’d dashed his heart to pieces ten years ago.

If Katherine Dixon, had learned anything, it was that life wasn’t fair and you had to work like crazy to get what you wanted. After losing her husband the previous year, she’d been running a bakery and deli all on her own. Not to mention raising her nine-year-old son. When her car breaks down and none other than too big for his britches, Marshall, shows up she tells him she doesn’t need his help. She doesn’t want his help. She wouldn’t take his help if she were hanging from a cliff and holding on with one hand.

Good thing—he helps her anyway. When a stalker keeps showing up, leaving strange things for Kat and clues to the Conquistador’s gold fall into their hands, they must make a decision; trust each other or fall for the lies of the past.

Only 99¢ – The Stone Family Haven
A man who has been burned too many times. A woman who’s running from her ex. Will they help each other heal and find a second chance at love?

★★★★★From kindle all-star and USA Today author, Taylor Hart! The South Port Beach Series!

Brooks Stone, FBI superhero, strike that, demoted FBI now … doesn’t want to talk about why he had a mental break a year ago. He doesn’t want to talk about his dead partner. He really doesn’t want to talk about why the tremor in his hand won’t go away. When he agrees to watch the family Inn for two weeks, he finds himself looking forward to the peace of South Port. Too bad he meets a strange woman with eyes that remind him of the ocean and an attitude so bad, she could scare off any lethal assassin, except him of course.

Serenity Rome only knew one thing about life; it was hard. Good thing she could do hard. She’d done hard when her father had left when she was ten. She’d done hard when her mother had been given the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s five years ago. And she’d done even harder when the man she’d married had turned violent and threatened to kill her. Now, as she rus for her life, all she knows is that she has to find the Conquistador’s gold. The gold her family journal proves she had claim to.

When she wakes up on a park bench, and discovers she’s face to face with Brooks Stone, one of the infamous Stone family, she has no idea why he offers to have her stay at his family Inn. She only agrees to it because it gives her an opportunity to learn more about this treasure. Not because the man is gorgeous. No. She could care less about how gorgeous he is or how he seems to see right through her lies, but wants to help her anyway. No, she doesn’t care about any of that.

As these six Stone siblings find a way back to each other, they must learn to let go of what doesn’t matter and cling to the things their parents always wanted for them--family, love, and fun memories on the beach.

**Excerpt from The Stone Family Heart:**
She slicked back her hair. “I didn’t realize you lived on the beach.”

He turned to face the ocean before his thoughts could spiral in that direction. “Just recently. I’m remodeling it.”

“Wow. Where are your uncle and aunt living?”

“Aunt Lily wanted to cut down on the pastor’s commute time, so they bought the old Parkman place next to the church,” he said, making air quotes around the word “commute.”

“Your aunt is a sweetie,” Kensi said, her lips turning up into a smile. “How is she?”

“Good.” He nodded. She was more beautiful than he remembered. How had time actually made her more attractive?

“You always were handy. I bet you’re doing a good job on the remodel.”

It felt good to hear her say that. He gestured back behind him. “It was really run-down, but when Uncle Henry offered to sell it to the family first, I just …” He shrugged. “I always wanted to live on the beach.”

Her grin widened. “Yes, you did. And I wanted to live in the city.”

The moment turned intense. “Yes, you did.”

“With my people.” She copied part of the last real conversation they’d ever had.
Tim faltered. That stung. He didn’t know what to say. “I … You didn’t belong in my world back then.” He had been about to enlist in the marines.

She crossed her arms. “You know, that was never your choice to make.”

Dang, this had just turned serious. “I did the right thing for you.”

“Again, not your choice.”

They were in a stand off.

He let out a soft laugh. “Geez, sorry, Kens. I … am sorry if I hurt you.”

She cursed and turned away from him. “It’s fine.”

“I really am sorry. I thought I was letting you fly and spread your wings if I broke things off between us.”

For a moment, she hesitated. “Fly?”

“Yeah,” he said, gesturing to the sky. “Harvard is kinda up in the sky for most people. I didn’t want to ruin that.”

She glared at him, then turned away. “I… My counselor has been telling me I need to let people know when they are hurting me, and I’m not going to lie… You hurt me, Tim. But that was a long time ago.”

Over the years, he’d thought about that day so many times. He’d imagined how different things might have been. But if he’d learned anything from being a Marine, it was that looking back never helped a person. The fact she’d mentioned she was seeing a counselor gave him some insight and compassion. “I am sorry.”

Her eyes narrowed. “Well, then I guess I forgive you.”

It was stupid, but it did make him feel better. “Thank you.”

Again, more awkward silence.

She turned to the water. “Guess we both got what we wanted. You live on the beach; I live in the city.”

It was strange, but it felt like the truth was the exact opposite of what she was saying. Another trait of a good attorney, he supposed. “I guess we did.”

She turned back to him. “I am happy for you. A house on the beach will be perfect.”

He paused, unsure whether to trust her words. “Yeah.”

She began walking back toward the inn. “Would you believe I actually spent time remodeling my last home before selling it? There’s definitely a learning curve.”

The tension between them melted. Tim followed her. He couldn’t help but want to ask more questions, but he held back, not wanting her to think he was interrogating her. “That’s cool.”

Had she remodeled with Jeff? He flashed to a memory of meeting Jeff one time when she’d brought him to South Port to visit her mother. He’d run into them at Antonio’s when he’d been out to dinner with his wife, Tina. The memory made him wince. He didn’t want to think about any of that.

“Are you okay?” Kensi asked.

The woman had always been perceptive. “I’m good.”

They were both quiet for a moment. Kensi had always been able to pick up on his feelings when they were young. She was definitely an empath, as his wife would have said. His wife had been into all of that mumbo-jumbo.

“Tim?” Kensi was staring at him perceptively. “You look sad.”

For the past year, everyone in this town had asked how he was doing or questioned how he felt because of a look on his face. He was tired of it.

Hoping for a distraction, he gestured to the water. “What about that race? I mean, so you can prove yourself.”

The look on her face went from a passive smile to one of concentration. “You really think you could beat me?”

It made him smile. A little competition still got Kensi’s attention. “Sweetheart, I was a Marine. I will beat you. But there’s only one way to find out.”

Without hesitation, she crouched like she was at the starting line of a track race. “We’ll do it like we used to, down to the rock and back here, then in the water.”

Excerpt from Always Kiss Your First Love:
If Janet hadn’t been supported in her father’s strong arms, she would have fallen over. She jerked back. “Michael?” She found herself meeting a familiar pair of soft, swirling chocolate eyes. It was definitely Michael.

The side of his mouth tugged up. “Hey.”

“Well, Michael Hamilton.” A grin appeared on her father’s face that she hadn’t seen in a very long time. His expression said he found it very pleasing that Michael now stood in front of them. He put his hand out. “I told your father he should forward that invitation to you. I’m glad to see he did.”

Michael shook his hand. “It’s good to see you, sir.” Then he turned his gaze back to Janet. “It’s been a long time.”

John let out a soft laugh and patted Michael on the back, retreating toward the tables. “Have fun you two.”

They both watched him go. Then Michael reached out a hand to her. “What do you say, dance with an old friend?”

Her heart pounded. She tried slowing it by telling herself that thinking of him less than an hour ago didn’t mean anything. Thinking of his face when she thought about true love didn’t mean anything. And it most certainly didn’t mean anything that her mouth felt suddenly dry and she was slightly disoriented.

“Well?” His eyebrows tugged up.

She reached for his outstretched hand. “It’s been a long time.”

Michael led her into a slow two-step, and she easily followed his lead. All those dances from years ago rose to the forefront of her memory. It had been just like this. She remembered the way his hand felt. The way he gently applied pressure to the small of her back to guide her around the dance floor. He pushed her out and then easily twirled her.

The odd thing about this whole experience was that she laughed. She spun. And she remembered doing the exact same thing with him ten years ago.
He pulled her back to him. Closer than before. So close she could smell his light cologne. Here was something different. It wasn’t the same scent from high school. Then it had been more cool mist. Now… She closed her eyes for a second, focusing. “Escape by Calvin Klein, right?”

Michael stopped dancing but kept her hand in his and kept his other hand on the small of her back. “How did you know that?”

She laughed. “I went shopping with Kevin last week and helped him pick out a cologne that Molly would like.”

Michael narrowed his eyes and then began dancing again. He inhaled deeply. “Flowers.”

She stopped laughing. “What?”

He tightened his hand on hers and looked into her eyes. “I don’t know what scent you’re wearing, but you smell like fresh flowers.”

“Work hazard.”

Michael narrowed his eyes. “What job makes you smell like flowers?”

After pausing for a second, she decided not to make missing the last ten years of her life that easy for him. “I don’t know, why don’t you tell me.”

His eyes flashed wide, and a sad grin tugged the edge of his smile down. “Still haven’t forgiven me I see.”

All she could do was stare at him and shove down the bubbling emotion that stirred inside her.

“Michael.” Kevin and Molly appeared next to them. Kevin grinned at Michael. Janet gave him a meaningful look, as if to ask ‘did you know he was going to be here?’ Kevin put out his hand. “I can’t believe you’re here. This is crazy.”

Michael stopped dancing, dropped the hand on her back, and reached for Kevin’s. “I guess I’m skating on my dad’s invitation.”

Kevin hesitated for a second.

Janet gave him a warning look that told him not to say anything about the breakdown she’d had all those years ago. Kevin had always been protective of her, but ever since she’d been diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, he considered himself her personal bodyguard. Janet nodded to him that everything was fine.

Kevin narrowed his eyes like he was about to say something but just tugged his lips into a tense smile before saying, “Hey, as long as my older sister is happy, I’m happy. Just make sure she stays that way.”

The way Michael held Kevin’s gaze told Janet he hadn’t been expecting her baby brother to be so protective. He nodded. “Guess you’ve grown up.”

Kevin let out a soft scoff and tugged Molly closer. “All married and everything.”
Molly grinned, her happiness palpable. She nodded to Michael. “I remember you helping us build that tree house all those years ago.”

Michael seemed to relax. “That’s right. I think I remember you and Kevin here ending that day muddy from head to toe. I also remember Janet got in trouble for letting you guys get so messy.”

Molly giggled and snuggled closer to Kevin. “Sounds about right.”

Janet grinned. “I forgot about that. Maybe today’s a good day for retaliation.” She winked at Michael. “Wedding cake.”

Kevin cocked a challenging eyebrow. “Look what you’ve started, Michael.”

Michael cleared his throat. “Well, congratulations to you both.”

“Thank you.” Kevin moved away from them and winked back at Janet. “Have fun now.”

Molly waved. “Be good you two.”

Before they could fully begin dancing again, someone else moved toward them.

“Michael Hamilton.” Pastor John held his hand out. “You’ve come home.”

Michael grinned and shook the Pastor’s hand. “I don’t know if I’d say I’m…home, sir. Just here for a visit.”

Janet cleared her throat and then coughed, smothering a laugh. She thought about that Christmas. They’d never officially been caught when they’d stolen the donkey off of the Nativity set in front of the church, but Michael had sworn someone had been watching.

The side of Pastor John’s lip curved up. He leaned into them, his voice a whisper. “Janet, I know you’re thinking about that donkey.”

She drew in a breath and couldn’t stop a laugh from jerking out.

Michael grinned. “You knew about that?”

Pastor John grinned and held up a finger. “I should think both of you know that I am omniscient and omnipotent.” His grin widened.

They all laughed, but Janet thought how true that statement really was.

Pastor John patted Michael on the back. “It’s good to see you. And, Michael, remember that any place can be home…if it’s where your heart has always been.” He winked and then moved on. “You kids have fun.”

Michael shook his head. “Pastor John never changes.”

Janet giggled. “No, he doesn’t.”

The song ended, and they stopped dancing. Michael’s hands dropped to his sides.

Another song started, and Michael reached out his hand. “Ms. Snow, would you be up for another dance?”

She didn’t think she’d ever been the kind of girl that played hard to get before, but it looked like she was doing it now. “Actually, Mr. Hamilton, it’s funny you said Ms. Snow because I only recently went back to Snow…you know it was Walker.” She didn’t know why she felt the need to remind him. Maybe it was to punish him for leaving her ten years ago. “And my dance card is kind of full.” She turned to walk away.

Before she could move two steps away, he tugged her back into a two-step. “I’m not letting you walk away, Ms. Snow.”

The breath whooshed out of her, and her knees went weak as she stared up into his intense eyes. All these years later and it felt like they were right back where they had started…or where they had ended. She let herself be glided back into dancing.

Michael lifted his eyebrows in challenge and then tsked his tongue. “Let’s see. Where were we? Oh, yeah, you didn’t think I knew you owned a flower shop in town.” A mischievous glint came into his eyes. “Flower Girl…right?”

The admission stunned her for a second. “You knew?”

He waved to Sawyer from Iron Stix. “Dad told me on the way over.” Gently, he pulled her even closer and then whispered. “I like the name. It fits you.”

Tingles went down her spine. The two of them were not eye level, and being this close to him highlighted the fact that he was a good four inches taller than her. She’d always liked that he’d been tall, six foot and three inches to be exact. Kurt was only six foot, and it had always felt too close for comfort. She took the momentary silence to study him more closely and saw that he’d dressed for a Snow Valley wedding. “New boots? Look at the city slicker getting all country.”

It’s a crazy and fun Christmas story! Don’t miss it!

Secret Undercover Fake Fiance FBI Billionaire: Feel Good Christmas Romance
A man who is NOT getting married to make his father's dying wish complete. A woman with a dangerous ex boyfriend. Will a grandmother getting hurt, lead to a Christmas matchmaking wish?
★★★★★From Kindle all-star and USA Today author, Taylor Hart! The Jagger Family Romances!

Cohen Jagger, ex FBI doesn't care if he has to give up BILLIONS. His dear old dad doesn't get to tell him what to do--especially from the grave! Hiding out and rehabbing an old house and skiing in Park City, Utah seems like the perfect way to spend a year away from the family business. When his only friend in town, the sweet, older woman next door falls ... he never expects that he would agree to be someone's fake fiance to help her out.

Hazel Kind hasn't had it easy, but when her engagement falls apart after her fiance repeatedly hits her, she can't bear to break the news to her grandmother. Until she gets a call from an angry neighbor that tells her, her grandmother has fallen. When she arrives in Park City, she is blown away when the grumpy neighbor volunteers to be her fake fiance, to help her grandmother save face with her friends.

When things heat up, and they both discover this situation is more than fake, they have to make a decision; forgive their pasts and move forward or let it all be a memory in the past.

Jagger Family Romances are full of fun, charm and falling in LOVE!

*Excerpt:*

Harriet pulled back from embracing Hazel and turned to him. “This must be your fiancé. I’m so glad I got to meet you.” She put her hand out to Cohen.

In a flash, Cohen considered all of the things that Glenda had said about wanting to introduce Hazel’s fiancé around town.

Hazel looked mortified. “Wait, uh, Mrs. Evenson, this is …”

Cohen coughed and couldn’t believe the words coming out of his mouth. “Yes, I’m the fiancé.” He tried to give a suitable smile. After all, he had been a spy. He could do this. “I’m Cohen Burke.” He couldn’t say Jagger. Even Glenda thought he was Cohen Burke. It was the name on the shell corporation that had bought the house, so he’d gone with it as his last name.

Her heavy red lipstick grin widened. “I’m Harriet Evenson. So nice to meet you, Cohen Burke.” Harriet shook his hand. “So pleased to finally meet Hazel’s fiancé.”

On impulse, he put an arm around Hazel, who had said nothing. She simply stared at them all, wide-eyed.

Harriet sucked in a quick breath. “Are you okay, dear?”

Hazel locked eyes with him. “Uh. Yeah.”

Harriet nodded and turned back to Cohen. “Well, I am Hazel’s grandmother’s best friend.” She put on an indulgent smile. “I was looking forward to having you both at all the town activities, but you’re probably going to spend a lot of time helping your grandma. I guess you won’t be able to help out with the town activities for the next couple days.”

Relief washed over him. He’d forgotten about all the town shenanigans that would go along with being a fiancé. They would have to be here for Glenda.

Hazel nodded. “Right, we need to be with Grandma. Sorry.”

Glenda spoke from behind them. “Actually, I’m going to be in the hospital for at least seven to ten days. Christmas is in seven days. I think you kids should still help. You could do a couple of the activities and be out amongst the people.”

Cohen was mortified, but as he locked eyes with Glenda, he could tell the lady was thrilled. She was sneaky, too.

He and Hazel glanced at each other.

Hazel shook her head. “Grandma, I want to be here with you. To help you.”

Cohen nodded. “I want to be with both of you.”

“Pish posh. You can still help with some of the activities,” Glenda assured them. “Hazel, I can give you my cookie recipe and you can enter the contest for me.” She clapped her hands together as if it was all settled.

This whole scene would have been laughable if it wasn’t making Cohen so annoyed.

Hazel looked up at him and then shrugged. “I guess we can talk about it.”

Cohen had been trained as a spy, but he had not been prepared for a situation like this. No one really expects to be someone’s fiancé and attend Christmas events in an unfamiliar town. His plan had been to let time pass until the New Year, when he would return to New York. He never thought he’d be seriously dating anyone.

Maybe this could be his chance?

No. He stomped that thought out.

He didn’t like to think like that. He couldn’t take advantage of the situation like this. Then again, he was sort of being taken advantage of, wasn’t he? Even though he’d been the one to volunteer.

He wanted to help Glenda and Hazel. Couldn’t he help them save face in front of Harriet and the whole town? It felt so petty, and yet as his eyes met Glenda’s, he knew he would do it for her. “Harriet, why don’t you give us a little time? Hazel will let you know what events we can help with. Would that work?”

Harriet nodded. “Sure. Gosh, it was so good to meet you. I’ve heard so many good things about you from Glenda.” She reached up and gently tapped his cheek. “I like you, Cohen.” She winked at Hazel and then turned and waved at Glenda. “It looks like you’ve got yourself a good one here, Glenda.”

“Yes, I do. Thanks for checking in on me, Harriet. Bye now.”

The door shut. There was silence for a few seconds. Cohen and Hazel gave each other blank looks.

Then Glenda burst out laughing.

“What’s so funny?” he asked, coming closer to her bedside. Hazel followed suit.

Glenda shook her head and laughed, then put her hand gently on her stomach. “Oh my gosh, I’m feeling some pain, but it’s worth it. I don’t know what happened with your fiancé, Hazel, but this is going to be the best Christmas ever.”
