But the worst of it wasn't the fact it was a money pit, the worst of it was that it got broken into two different times and one of the cops let it slip that one of the guys who grew up in the house was out of prison and looking for a hidden bag of cash. When her grumpy neighbor offers his guest bedroom as a refuge for a couple of nights, she tells him no. Until the alarm goes off, again, and she's left with no choice but to accept his help.
