So, it might seem like a longer, totally OUTLANDISH story to you guys--so brace yourself....
It’s true—the guy who narrated The Stone Family Inn—we used to date:)
Now I’ve piqued your interest, haven’t I? :)
Without giving away the WHOLE story because that’s another story—I’ll just tell you this – even after the whole messy love story didn’t work out for us, we became friends.
But, I’m not going to lie, when Chris told me he wanted to produce audible books and he was interested in doing some of my books—I was skeptical. Because these books are my Ba-bies!
So, I tentatively agreed to have him do a ‘try out.’ Deep breath. Truthfully, I was like … back up, let’s think about this—what’s that saying about doing business with friends and family; it’s never a good idea!
But—you guys will have to go take a listen HERE--check out the sample! even if you’ve read the book because I am floored with how he puts such emotion into the character’s voices. Funny part -- he’s amazing with women’s voices. Which he loves to be teased about. Hahaha!
This project was so much fun, we’ve decided to partner up and have him do the rest of the South Port Beach Romances. I'm stoked! He's working on Kensi's book now!
For fun, I had him write up a few lines --as an introduction--
Hey guys--Chris here-- First, I am truly grateful and humbled to have the chance to read Taylor's books! Second, for the record...I dumped her! 🙂.....(okay, fine, you'll have to get the real story out of her.) Third, Taylor asked me to tell you why I'm narrating audible books, so here goes; I lied to my dad about crashing his truck as a teenager... I read to my children every night before bed... I present cases to judge and jury on a near-weekly basis... Simply put...I've been telling stories my entire life. I love it. I hope you enjoy the first book --and I'd love to hear from you. So, it might seem like a longer, totally OUTLANDISH story to you guys--so brace yourself....
It’s true—the guy who narrated The Stone Family Inn—we used to date:)
Now I’ve piqued your interest, haven’t I? :)
Without giving away the WHOLE story because that’s another story—I’ll just tell you this – even after the whole messy love story didn’t work out for us, we became friends.
But, I’m not going to lie, when Chris told me he wanted to produce audible books and he was interested in doing some of my books—I was skeptical. Because these books are my Ba-bies!
So, I tentatively agreed to have him do a ‘try out.’ Deep breath. Truthfully, I was like … back up, let’s think about this—what’s that saying about doing business with friends and family; it’s never a good idea!
But—you guys will have to go take a listen HERE--check out the sample! even if you’ve read the book because I am floored with how he puts such emotion into the character’s voices. Funny part -- he’s amazing with women’s voices. Which he loves to be teased about. Hahaha!
This project was so much fun, we’ve decided to partner up and have him do the rest of the South Port Beach Romances. I'm stoked! He's working on Kensi's book now!

Hey guys--Chris here-- First, I am truly grateful and humbled to have the chance to read Taylor's books! Second, for the record...I dumped her! 🙂.....(okay, fine, you'll have to get the real story out of her.) Third, Taylor asked me to tell you why I'm narrating audible books, so here goes; I lied to my dad about crashing his truck as a teenager... I read to my children every night before bed... I present cases to judge and jury on a near-weekly basis... Simply put...I've been telling stories my entire life. I love it. I hope you enjoy the first book --and I'd love to hear from you.
