Day Whatever

Today I snipped at the bangs of my hair. I'm smart enough to know that someone who knows nothing about cutting hair should not cut hair while wet. I have to say it doesn't look too bad. On the other hand whose going to see. I am watching the white and silver roots of my hair grow. If this lock down goes on for many more months I will have to cut off the colored blond portions. Gray hair appears early in my family. I made it into my 30's before having to color to cover up. I have cousins that colored their hair in the 20's because they went completely gray. For now a spiffy hat works when I do venture out for needed groceries.
Take care and be safe.

Today is rainy, windy, and a good day to stay inside. I've been busy this winter growing flowers and vegetables from seeds. In a couple of weeks they will be able to go outside.
We are also watching for the Purple Martens to show up so that we can uncover the bird house. Those house swallows are trying like crazy to take over the house. They are vicious in fights and usually win against the Martens. So we cover the house to try and deter them from using it.
Check out Ciena and Aja Foxx's new story, Denying His Alpha. This is from the Wilde Wolves series. I adore Iren from the story. He's so funny, he had me laughing throughout the whole story.

I hope you all are doing well. I know times are scary and hard. But we need to stay strong and stay home if you can. If we follow the rules now, we will again have the freedom to go about our business.
On the writing front, I am writing.
Have a happy Easter.

A very good friend of mine has her first story out. Her name is Ciena Foxx. I can't tell you how much she went through to finish and release this story. But she did it and I'm so proud of her. She and her sister Aja write together also and have a series called Wilde Wolves.

I know it's been a while. I am working on some stories. I hope in time to release an Operation True One story to Siren in the near future. I'm still a bit wary of all the changes happening over there. Call me cautious. For all I know, cutting a few corners will make the company better.
In the mean time, Jordan is whispering a few secrets to me.

I am two tough scenes away from finishing my book. In real life, I tend to avoid confrontation and strife at all costs. So, of course, writing about them is very hard for me. But, they make for a great story, so I will prevail.

Welcome to a new year, month, and decade. Usually, at this time of the year, I list what stories I'm working on and what I plan on working on. I won't be making lists this year. In 2019 I experienced a horrid case of writer's block. The pressure of trying to produce a quality product in a short amount of time got to me and the words froze. I found no excitement or anticipation in the act of writing. What words I managed to form seemed boring and I soon lost interest in the story. Adding to this upheaval was some problems with the release of my audible books.
My time at the GRL convention in Albuquerque and support from other dear authors has renewed my writing spirit. I cannot make any promises of the future. Just know that I haven't forgotten you, my dear reader, and hope you don't forget me.

We are expecting nasty weather over the next few days. They warn us that we could see over 2 inches of rain, followed by ice, and then a couple of inches of snow. I'm heading to town to pick up a few things. The family is supposed to come over for the football game on Sunday. We'll see how it goes. Mr. B and I may have a lot of food to eat next week if no one can travel the roads.
Have a great weekend
