My mind is running in circles today. My story had slowed down. I'm finding that writing about a character who is a truly growly unbending bear shifter is harder than creating characters who compromise, or at least argue it out.
My mind is already thinking about the head hunch alpha bear. He even scares me a bit. I wonder if I can pull these guys off. These could be awesome books or huge disappointments. I am going to trust in my beta reader to give me an honest opinion.
Today is pt day for me, so I suppose I won't get much done. I believe Loving Laser's Lost Boys should be up for pre-sale. I will keep you informed. Also, I will also be working on the final edits for Laser's story. There aren't many changes so it should go pretty easy.

The repairman came and hopefully fixed the problem with my ice maker once and for all.
I received final edits for Loving Laser's Lost Boys. I believe the story should be up for pre-sale today or tomorrow.
Today is physical therapy day. I'm ready to get out of the house for a little while.
I have to share a small funny that happened last night. My oldest son called with an idea for a rescue for one of my stories. He called quite late at night because he was watching a show on TV that gave him the idea. He said he wanted to tell me about it before he went to bed and forgot the whole thing. I have to say the idea had some merit.  I have to chuckle at how many people in my life will call me with an idea for one of my stories. I love them all.

Not quite a year ago, I went out and bought all new appliances. The microwave stopped working, the stove worked if you kicked it, and the dishwasher's start button was broken. So, I saved my money and purchased pretty new appliances. (And they were all the same color, wow)
Since then, the repairman has been out to our house 5 times. 4 of those were for the refrigerator alone. The ice maker only gives out enough ice for 1 glass a day. It also freezes up so you can't open it to see what the problem is. We also had problems with the microwave. When you turned it on, it made a horrible sound.
Today, the repairman will be visiting us again. The ice maker is still not working and now one burner of my horribly expensive stove is burned out. I purposely bought the higher end model as I like to cook and wanted a quality product. So much for that idea. I have never had so many problems before.
We will see if the repairman gets his way and they order a new refrigerator for us. The poor man has replaced the entire door, the ice maker twice, and enough individual parts to fill a box.
Ah, the adventures of life. Will keep you updated.

I'm all showered and sitting with my knee elevated and iced. I am getting stronger, but by the time I'm out of the shower I feel like a wet noodle.
The story I'm working on is riding me hard. It's all that I think about. What a difference from the writer's block I had with my first knee surgery.
I've already had Jess create a cover for me. Wow! She did such a good job, I'm even more excited about this story. What do you think?
Now its time to get back to the story.

I am working on a paranormal story featuring a bear shift...

I am working on a paranormal story featuring a bear shifter.  I have to say I'm enjoying it. I wrote most of the day and while I was on the machine that bends and straightens my leg I talked into the recorder.
Now I am very tired and will have to stop. Of course part of me wants to type up what I put into the recorder. But I better not over do it or I will be in trouble. I am very happy that I'm writing and the words are there.

Today is Physical Therapy day. I'm hoping things go well. I would like to have a clear enough mind to come home and work on a story I've been playing with. There will not be any serious writing until I'm off some of these pain medications.
I'm happy to be interested in writing anything. So I consider this a win.
They are predicting 70 degree temperatures this weekend. I'm looking forward to sitting outside on the deck and enjoying the sun's rays baking my new knee.

My knee surgery went well. The recovery has been a challenge. This is a challenge that will last for the next 3 months. I will try to stop in and keep you updated. The good news is that I've been updating this blog. It needed it.

It is Friday already. Monday, and my knee surgery will be...

It is Friday already. Monday, and my knee surgery will be here soon. Pain has steadily gotten worse this week. Not only in my bad knee, but my good knee, lower back, and just over all. I realized that this was because I haven't been able to take my vitamins and pain prescription all week. (doctors orders) I sure can tell the difference.
On the writing front. Nope, I still have not finished Laser's story. My problem was I didn't know what was going to happen with these three. Last night, just before I was going to bed, it hit me. I made notes and now know where this story is going. It will take some luck, but this story may get in to Siren before I go in for surgery.
I will try to post here before Monday, but if I don't I will be back to update you after my surgery. Take care, and have a wonderful day.
