February Femmes Fatales


Horror Queen Lily Childs is infamous for her yearly February Femmes Fatales series where she collects stories from women writers all over the globe and presents them on her website-- The Feardom.

This year, Lily has compiled a wicked collection of stories in an anthology from over 23 authors! It's a pretty big deal. The book will be released soon.

Dead Sunset Red at Voluted Tales


It is the darkest moment imaginable when a mother harms those whom she has birthed and vowed to protect. We ask the questions-- why? How? And since we often can't or don't choose to comprehend how something heinous like this can happen, it's easiest in human nature to tag this person as a monster.

Only a monster would kill her own children.

What I've done in my latest story, Dead Sunset Red, is humanize the monster. Give her a name, give her a voice... when we listen we find reason, we find mot...
