Short, Sharp Interview at Paul Brazill's

Today, I have a S hort, Sharp Interview over at Paul Brazill's classy joint. We talk about my new release suspense novella, SUPERGIRLS and it's characters, Jenn and May. There's discussion about the gulf between reality and dreams, the belief of what we see on TV, serial killers and schizophrenics, whistling deer heads and... where not to put a pistol. I also mention a bit about about my recent past, and what I think about social marketing. Click HERE to read.

Thanks so much to Paul for the int...

Up Comings...

A little birdie whispered in my ear...Mav's gotta new book out this weekend. Links and description to come.

Meanwhile, like the new site? I change it about as often as I used to change my hair, but like my current hair style, I like it, and I think I'll keep it around for a while.
I've gotta new Facebook page! I post all sorts of fun stuff there. If you "like" me, I'll think happy thoughts about you for at least five minutes. Promise. Click Click.
See you this weekend!

News and a Story Acceptance

Though I've been quiet on the blog, I've got LOTS'n'LOTS of good stuff going on. Earlier this year, I released my short story The Undistilled Sky on Amazon while editing my 2nd draft of a full length romance/ splatter punk/ suspense novel called Wanted: Single Rose. Then immediately jumped into writing a new suspense novella, A Night Without Stars, which is the second book in the SUPERGIRLS series. I'm also preparing to release the first in the SUPERGIRLS series in a few weeks. Super stoked a...

Great Editorial Review of The Undistilled Sky

Thank you to Bill Howard of Reader's Favorite for his lovely, articulate review of THE UNDISTILLED SKY.

Bill writes, "Mav Skye takes us on a deep and dark journey into a world of madness and mental illness that borders on the terrifying in The Undistilled Sky... Dark and desperate are the two best words to describe The Undistilled Sky. Mav Skye has brilliantly captured the horrors of a mental illness that is driven by flaming madness. The descriptions, emotions, and thoughts that go throu...

Five Hundred Twenty Six Sugar Pills at 10 Days of Madness

My story "Five Hundred Twenty Six Sugar Pills" is up today at the 10 Days of Madness Event.  Each of the stories have great spins on the theme of Hidden Horrors. My story isn't one that will jump out of the closet and strangle you, but I hope it unsettles and awakes fears in the quiet places of the soul we tend to forget or ignore.

"The mirror reflected a face, but she didn't know whose."
Big thank you to Chris Allinotte for putting on this fun event. And also thanks to artist Niall Parki...
