IndieReader Five-Star Review for Raven's Peak!

I just received the IndieReader review back from them a few minutes ago, and they gave it a five-star rating! It is officially IndieReader approved.

"A hell of a series start finds a demon hunter searching for a way of rescuing her adoptive father from the grips of a demon and solving the mystery of Raven’s Peak." - IndieReader

"IR Verdict: RAVEN’S PEAK sets the stage for a constant battle between sinister demons and humanity, a scheming Council supposedly set up for protection, and a young woman seeking to save her father from an eternity as a monster’s plaything." - IndieReader

It's really great getting something positive from them, and hopefully, the news will be just as good regarding the contest itself! Hopefully, this is a contributing factor for that.

Second Chances Audiobook!

I haven't had any news about Second Chances in a while, so it's nice to finally be able to let everyone know that it is being turned into an audiobook! It took a really long time to find the right person to read it, so now the project should get underway really fast.

I don't have a release date yet, or even an ETA because the person has only just begun working on it, but I'm hoping sometime in the next month or so I can give you more information about it!

This will mean Ripples Through Time and Second Chances both have audiobooks created, and hopefully next I'll be able to round out some of my other books as well.

Upcoming Projects - Raven's Fall/Collision of Worlds

Raven's Fall is nearly here, and in only a few short weeks it'll be on Amazon for pre-order! It's been hectic wrapping it up and finalizing everything, and now it's time to start turning toward other works in progress.

Still plugging away on the Graveyard of Empires Sequels, as well as two other projects. One of them is a sci-fi horror novel about getting lost in space. It is set in the Graveyard of Empires as well, though a completely different kind of book. The other one is a fantasy novel with a lot of moving parts about a reluctant hero.

Both of these are being written with the intention of loading them onto Kindle Scout sometime next year. The other books I'm working on are going to be published through my own imprint, and with any luck those will be ready sometime soon.

It's been busy recently trying to catch back up to real life, so I'm not sure exactly how much writing I'm going to manage in the coming weeks, but I'm determined to at least get some of these projects underway and not just in the planning phase!

Yet another Raven's Peak Milestone!

Raven's Peak got its fiftieth 5-Star review! It has sixty-four total reviews, eight of which are 4-Star!

In other news, I also wrapped up Raven's Fall today and I'm looking for some beta readers to give it a read through and offer some feedback. If anyone is interested, send me a message at LincolnJCole@gmail.com and I can get you setup with a copy.

It was nice putting the finishing touches on it, and I'm really excited about it getting it published for everyone to read! A couple more weeks of cleanup and editing and it'll be released!

Thanks, everyone!

Lincoln

Almost done with Raven's Fall

The cover is complete on the second book in the World on Fire series, Raven's Fall. The book itself it mostly finished as well and should be done in a couple of days. It is currently sitting around 70,000 words, which is probably where it's going to end up. I'm working on getting it finalized now.

I'm hoping to have it out in late August or September. People who were fans of the first book should definitely enjoy this one because it's full of action and excitement in an entirely different environment. It picks up a short while after the end of Raven's Peak.

Once I finish that I'm going to turn my attention to a few other projects, including Graveyard of Empires sequels. I'm hoping to have those out maybe early next year, and then I'll be working on the third book in the World on Fire series.

Anyway, here's that new cover for Raven's Fall!

Comfy Reading Book Review

Raven’s Peak by Lincoln Cole is a supernatural thriller that quickens your heartbeat and doesn’t stop building suspense until the final page. I was riveted by this book, because although these situations are typically seen as myth or religious “issues”, they were written so real and so raw that I felt this could happen in any town. Not only did that freak me out beyond belief, but it also entranced me so that I had to read to the very end...

Raven's Peak Reached 50 Reviews!

Still not even to that 30 day mark and already at 50 reviews! It's super cool, got the last one yesterday!

It's been performing fairly well so far, but I won't know how many copies are sold until next month, and I won't get paid for them for a month after that. Makes it really interesting, because this is way better than any of my other books performed, but it's like a black box where I simply don't know how it's doing.

I'm fairly certain I'm going to publish the next book (Raven's Fall) on my own, but I'm thinking about starting another project with Kindle Scout. The marketing and editing are really nice, and I have no complaints about how they work so far.

In any case, just wanted to let everyone know how things are going and that Raven's Peak had reached a pretty cool milestone!
