Rafting weekend
Over the weekend I went rafting with family down in West Virginia on the upper new river. Was a lot of fun, beautiful weather, and I am entirely exhausted because of it.
The biggest thing we weren't expecting was just how long it was going to take. They spend a lot of time getting things ready for the trip and then taking them apart again, so we just sat around waiting for a lot of it.
But it's well worth the trip if you have family excited about rafting. You don't need to be able to swim--we had 4 non-swimmers on our trip--nor do you need to be very old. We had a seven year old with us who cannot swim, and she had a blast the entire trip!
So check it out if you haven't, and if you have you can step it up to try out the more exciting trips. Once you manage the Gulley, you'll be impressed with just what you can accomplish.

Working on a new GoE short story to give more depth on Darius, and hopefully clarify some of his ambitions. How did he fall? What put him in this situation?

Both novels are now set up and awaiting final approval, but both should be available on kindle now.
