Holiday wishes!
Hey everyone!
I hope your holiday was excellent. I know mine was! Lots of great food, family, and some really neat presents.
I hit the approve button on the audiobook version of Ripples Through Time, so in about two weeks it'll be up on Amazon, iTunes, and a few other places for purchase in audio format. It was read by Don Foote, and it sounds really good, so if you haven't read the actual version, you might be interested in getting it in audio format.
Keep an eye out for that and enjoy the rest of your holidays.
Thanks everyone!

Underground Book Reviews Pitch Perfect Finalist
Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend, and it's going to be Christmas soon! I'm excited about the holidays and can't wait to spend time with family!
Anyway, Second Chances was chosen as an Underground Book Review Pitch Perfect Finalist, and I need some people to vote to try and make this their Pitch Perfect Pick for next week! The voting is Facebook based.
Please Like and Share this post!
UBR Post
Hopefully it gets picked if we can get enough votes! All of my books are still 99 cents if anyone is looking to pick up a copy, and I managed to crack the top 100 of the Classics Category on Amazon in the US, and I made it all the way to 4 in the UK with Ripples Through Time!
Also, I'm still working on Raven's Peak whenever I get time, and it's about 33% done now. It's going to be longer than UAV, but paced even faster. I want to keep things going as well as possible.
Thanks everyone and best wishes for the Holidays!

Review Second Chances
Second Chances by Lincoln Cole is a fictional story about sacrifice, segregation and the importance of family. It starts with the lead character's mother mysteriously disappearing and Nichole assuming all the responsibility for her two siblings in her mother's absence. While in her first year of law school Nichole accepts an internship, but is unable to stay in school after the disappearance of her mother. Because one of the primary rules of the internship is for Nicole to also attend school, she is forced to stop attending to care for the needs of the home.
Richard is an attorney working within the firm where Nichole is completing her internship. He appears to have it all together and is soon faced with the choice to help Nichole or continue within his lackluster life. When Nichole finally admits that she feeling overwhelmed she goes to Richard for help, but he feels conflicted with helping because of his own ethics within the law field. Nichole makes Richard question his own motives for being an attorney and wonder if helping Nichole would be a good idea for him professionally and personally.
The novel is a true example of family struggles, and how things are never really as bad as they seem. Lincoln Cole grabs the readers' attention from the very beginning of the story with the tone and suspicion of the first few chapters. The struggle of the family was easy to identify with because the plot was realistic and definitely made the reader ask themselves if a second chance would even be possible. This novel is a great read and I would recommend five out of five stars. Very well written book. I loved it!
Rise: Tears
Rise: Tears is the first book in what will become a series of novellas about a dystopian future where water is a scarce and controlled resource even more important to sustain life than it is currently. The novella blends fantasy and science fiction and tells the story of a scribe working for the Queen tasked with interviewing various people to find out a truth that is vaguely referenced in this first novella. This first entry is the interview of Micaela, an Edger who is working with her family to solve a problem in one of the shells in the Outer Dominances. She teams up with Seekers, a sort of police figure in the new world, in a journey of discovery and constant peril.
The novella is told in first person format, swapping back and forth between the scribe gathering the story, and Micaela who is telling the story. This can feel disjointed at times, where the first person narrative is interrupted by another first person narrative, but despite being distracting it is handled well. There is also a large cast of characters introduced to us, though only a few actually seem important to the story, particularly a rebellious Seeker named Quentin and the storytellers brother, Donavan. For a first entry it sets the stage very well for a series of entries that will gradually turn a vague problem into a reality, and I like how it is meant to be many parts forming a whole. All in all, a pleasant introduction to the series and I look forward to learning more about these characters and this world.

Resource Webpage Up and Running
Hey!
I created a new resource web page with a lot of links to various writing competitions and review websites in case anyone is interested in checking it out. There are a lot of really good resources out there, and this is just the initial list I've put together off the top of my head.
If anyone has any suggestions to add and expand the list, please let me know and I'll update the site to reflect it. For now I'm going to stick with this as the list of resources, though eventually it might get it's own website if I decide to expand it.
Check it out at:
Author Resources
I haven't gotten a lot of writing done in the last few days because of the holiday, but hopefully I can start pushing through to a finished first draft of Raven's Peak, and then I'm going to go back and work on Graveyard of Empires for the sequel as well as my new project, Last Light in the Dark. The new one is also set in GoE, but it's a different story with an entirely different style.
Also, Second Chances is about 15 days away from release, so if you haven't pre-ordered a copy please do so! I really appreciate the support!
Thanks!
Lincoln
Creating Resource website
Hoping to create a new resource center for different resources I've found for other authors to use. It'll include a lot of things I've found out and blog posts about things I've learned.
If anyone is interested in sending me links or information, please feel free to do so and hopefully I'll have something good set up soon. I'll keep everyone posted with how things are going.
Thanks!
Lincoln
