Still typing!

I've got two chapters posted below because they're a unit, one leading to the other. Thank you guys so much for your patience! I know it sucks waiting for a book. This one took me totally by surprise. I expected the Pykh books to all be about 45k or so, very light and fast novels. I had it in my mind that Carter would talk in this one. And then I chased a plot bunny around, leading to two books in one, but they don't work well enough as separate novels. I'm writing the ending now and filling...

Chapter One Preview

So I'm hard at work on the next Human Omega book, but it's coming out way longer than expected. It's already at 60k and I have about 40k to add to it before it's done! It's really fun though, I can't wait to show it you. The first book was only 50,500 words.

The first chapter is below, and I think it's pretty cute. Carter is trying to teach Pykh his name. It's not going so well though.

1.

“Carter. Kahr-terr. Car-ter. Carter.”

No, I’m not having a stroke. Since sleeping through the alien bug attac...

It's fun being the black sheep

Picture So my book is doing really well. For me, lol. Usually they sell alright for a week and drop off into oblivion after that. This one is surviving week two with it's head above water, so thank you everyone! You're the best.

And now a funny story....

So my family is kind of religious. My great grandfather was a preacher in Oregon during the Great Depression. No one has followed in his footsteps, religion steadily losing its grasp on my family, but my mother is Christian and does not like wha...

It's Heeeere

https://amzn.to/2LA0d9Z Picture How does a bad day get worse, you ask?

Well…
How about being squished between two huge, naked dudes with their meaty schlongs hanging out and everything?

It's all a matter of opinion, but Carter's day is going pretty badly. He's an engineer captured by bug aliens, now depending on his large, muscled, naked cage mates for food and warmth. They seem sentient, so that's good. But they're also handsy. Which is… complicated.

The military isn't looking for him. Slaves tak...

New book coming at ya

PictureThis was a super fun book to write. I wrote the first chapters alongside OSA, so it's aliens and humans again. This time without the fancy wealth. The aliens are more creature-ish too, so the sex scenes are neat.

The characters voices are what really made this book a blast to write though. There's three guys and three POVs in this one, and they're all adorable.

Carter is a captured engineer with a "Well, actually..." personality. Best example: Hermione.

Pykh was raised as a slave all his life an...

The Series Concludes Tomorrow :) / :,(

There will be some weirdness going on with the titles because I'm listing them on all bookstores as their Amazon exclusivity expires. I'm also working on making the first book free, but Amazon is slooooow. Excellent timing for this to happen would be a week. Last time it took 5 weeks...

The series conclusion didn't take me to all the places I wanted to go, as I said before. My Omega shifter series became sprawling and 'unending', so I tried to keep the story tight on this one. I've been studyi...

I'm alive!

So, 2018 has been kicking my ass. I feel like a rusty car with bald tires and a squeaky fan belt. Barely rolling and doing my best. So I'm very happy to announce that the book is done and should be up at the end of this week!

Endings are hard for me regardless because I'm always regretful of all the things that didn't make it into the book. For instance, I really wanted that baby to happen within the story. But the character took a different turn and became more about Rourke's family than his...

Rourke's Very Good Week*, Feb 1st!

Man, ten days late and I feel like it's been 10 YEARS. Getting sick and life's problems always seem to happen in the same week. :( But I'm back! Another reason this book took longer is because I was super perfectionist with it. I had this episode in mind from the very start of the story, so getting it right was important. The last two chapters feel like they took as long as the whole preceding book.

And now it's done! Whew. Amazon likes to nurture the books before they're let loose on the worl...

Typity, Typity, Typity...

Picture Still working on the third book! It's about 2/3 done, and I expect to release it on the 20th. (Edit: A terrible cold has set me back! The book will be available as soon as I can polish it up.) I was trying to find a chapter to share, but they're all pretty much spoilers. The plot moves a lot in this one for both Zachri & Rourke and the drama with his family back home.

It does look like there will be a fourth book. I know my serials get a lot of flak for running too long, so I'll do my be...
