Samantha L. Strong (formerly S. L. Saboviec) writes dark and beautiful sci-fi and fantasy stories about complicated characters. Like many Elder Millennials, she’d like to become an herbalist and live in an abandoned (and probably haunted) nunnery somewhere far away from people. She loves drawing sigils on everything, growing plants, and playing with her three adorable daughters.

Samantha’s short fiction has appeared in Amazing Stories, AE, and elsewhere. She has three novels out about angels and demons: the first two and a companion novel in her Fallen Redemption trilogy. She’s also the Reprint Editor and has been a slush reader since 2016 at Flash Fiction Online. Find out more about her writing at www.samanthalstrong.com.

I loved that show growing up, and I hate every episode that doesn't have Mulder in it. (OK, this is mostly about Mulder--let's just be honest.)

My favorite book couple would be Nora and Soren from The Siren by Tiffany Reisz. Their love is so forbidden... and raunchy, haha... I just love just about everything she writes about them, but the first book is by far the best of all of them. If you want to get into erotic romance, that's the place to start.(less)

Samantha Strong Samantha Strong said: " I have been so, so excited about this book since I first heard about it, so when I got my hands on a review copy from Netgalley, I was over the moon.

And it did not disappoint.

I've been "trying" to develop my psychic senses for a while now, but I put

There are some solid stories in here. It seems FFO was trying to find its footing at the beginning, but they still brought some great stuff. Here are my favorites:

- "Your Hand in Mine, We'll Be All Right" by Katherine Crighton - AUGH. Horror. HORROR.

"Satanist or not - you really should read this book.

I finished this book a few months ago and I've been thinking about it since then.
It's an utterly well-reasoned and even more balanced analysis of Satanism's journey to its present form. Joseph P. Lay" Read more of this review »

Maddy's starting to go dark. I like it.

(But I was annoyed by one if my biggest pet peeves: incorrect information about the mechanics of pregnancy. Ah, well, won't stop me from reading the next one.)

“Demetrius: Villain, what hast thou done?
Aaron: That which thou canst not undo.
Chiron: Thou hast undone our mother.
Aaron: Villain, I have done thy mother.”
William Shakespeare, Titus Andronicus

William Shakespeare
“LUCIUS. Art thou not sorry for these heinous deeds?

AARON. Ay, that I had not done a thousand more.
Even now I curse the day- and yet, I think,
Few come within the compass of my curse-
Wherein I did not some notorious ill;
As kill a man, or else devise his death;
Ravish a maid, or plot the way to do it;
Accuse some innocent, and forswear myself;
Set deadly enmity between two friends;
Make poor men's cattle break their necks;
Set fire on barns and hay-stacks in the night,
And bid the owners quench them with their tears.
Oft have I digg'd up dead men from their graves,
And set them upright at their dear friends' door
Even when their sorrows almost was forgot,
And on their skins, as on the bark of trees,
Have with my knife carved in Roman letters
'Let not your sorrow die, though I am dead.'
Tut, I have done a thousand dreadful things
As willingly as one would kill a fly;
And nothing grieves me heartily indeed
But that I cannot do ten thousand more.”
William Shakespeare, Titus Andronicus

Neal Stephenson
“Until a man is twenty-five, he still thinks, every so often, that under the right circumstances he could be the baddest motherfucker in the world. If I moved to a martial-arts monastery in China and studied real hard for ten years. If my family was wiped out by Colombian drug dealers and I swore myself to revenge. If I got a fatal disease, had one year to live, and devoted it to wiping out street crime. If I just dropped out and devoted my life to being bad.”
Neal Stephenson
