Fiction at Work, not to mention a 55-word dollop of Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine hype and YouTube video love at the QUICKIES! Chicago.

It's true, way back on a balmy October night TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer was invited to a QUICKIES! Chicago fundraiser and presented with the seemingly insurmountable challenge of reading a piece of no longer than 55 words. He not only embraced this challenge, but embraced his contractual obligation to hype Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine at any all times and the result has now been published in the new issue of Fiction at Work along with the work of many fine local writer

95,118.

There we were, slowly, but surely rolling towards the two million books more popular than ours mark, and then bam, here we are inexplicably climbing back into the five digits. What up with that? Not that we're complaining, just wondering.

Murderland Part 1: H8 by Garrett Cook. Check it out now. Yeah, there you go. Nice.

Murderland Part 1 : H8 by Garrett Cook is really not the kind of book we usually read, a story about a bizarro world coursing with paranoia, madness and rage, where serial killers are king and hate is not just embraced, but celebrated. And yet, that's why it's so cool to pick-up a book we wouldn't normally read, because Garrett can really write, and because he creates a world that is so vivid and that he believes in so much you cannot help but be sucked into it yourself.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and feeling Questionstruck. Or something like that.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and feeling Questionstruck. Or something like that. We have a new story, The Poet's Revise by William Walsh which we are way excited about, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends, and Crameresque prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all shout-outs and links. We are also thrilled to let you know that while this was completely unplanned William Wals

This is so freaking cool - Michael Kimball has written our life story (on a postcard).

This is so freaking cool. Author Michael Kimball, our newest and bestest friend in the whole world has an ongoing project called "Michael Kimball Writes Your Life Story (on a postcard" and today's life story is that of TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer. It's quite a thrill to be part of this very cool series though we do need to ask ourselves whether we think that reading this particular life story will change your life? Maybe? Briefly? We hope so? As always it's hard to say. However, do we t

Why? Who? What? Key West? Huh? We are totally intrigued in a totally compulsive and self-absorbed kind of way and we are hoping you can be of help.

Are we being compulsive and self-absorbed? Yes, totally. Should we care about this? Probably not. And yet, why is the travel website Our Key West hyping Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine and Lucky Man under their highlighted Florida Traveling Guides? Are we some kind of draw? Neither book references Florida, though we would be happy to make some edits if it helps sales. And speaking of sales, is anyone actually making any money off of this? That may be enough questions for now, but ca

Did you know that the Bangor Public Library rocks it big time? No, well, did you know that they may be somewhat confused, albeit in a good way?

Apparently the Bangor Public Library has obtained a copy of Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine - please see page five of the "New Books List" pdf at this link if you wish to confirm this - and while we are much appreciative, we are wondering whether they may have intended to purchase some other book and inadvertently ended up with ours. Either way we have made it into Stephen King country, yet one more step in our master plan for Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine world domin

Good-bye and many thanks to the Wordsmiths Books.

One of our favorite independent bookstores Wordsmiths Books in Atlanta has closed its doors - read more here - and we are really sad to learn this. The staff at Wordsmiths were great lovers of writers and independent everything. They were always excited to host readings and had an endless series of fine authors pass through their store. They also invited TBWCYL, Inc. spokersperson Ben Tanzer to read at the store several times and for that we are eternally grateful. It can be hard to quantify the
