Stop Self-Loathing and Take Your Learnings from 2024 and Do Better in 2025

As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the highs, the lows, and the unexpected twists that defined 2024. I’m sure you’re doing the same—wondering where the time went, what you accomplished, and what still feels incomplete. And boy, oh boy, is it easy to be mad at yourself for the things you didn’t do, what you didn’t accomplish, and the revenue targets you didn’t hit. I’ve definitely caught myself in moments of self-loathing, and if you’re a passionate business owner, you’ve likely done the same.

Reflection is powerful, and I hope sharing my lessons inspires you to shape your 2025.

2024: A Year of Learning and Growth

2024 was a year of learning, growth, and, frankly, a lot of figuring things out. After a spiritual journey that was difficult, life-changing, and deeply transformative, I had to make decisions. Decisions to let you see the spiritual side of me and figure out a way to add it to the strategic side you already knew. Decisions to be more and do less, stop holding onto the version of me that wanted more and more, and embrace the part that says “deeper and better.”

2024 was about full surrender—finding clarity and trusting that we live in a friendly universe and that people are mostly good.

I don’t know what your year looked like, but growth rarely comes in a straight line. Transformation is painful because it asks you to let go of something so that something new can come in. One of my favorite phrases is:

“Take away what is not mine, so that what is, can come in.”

In the most challenging moments, we experience the most growth. Here are my lessons from 2024.

Lessons from 20241. Clarity is Non-Negotiable

Clarity is the foundation of everything—your business, your relationships, your personal growth. Without it, you’re spinning your wheels. Clarity means knowing what you want and why you want it. It’s about making decisions with intention, not just reacting to what unfolds in real time.

This year, I asked myself hard questions:

Is this still working for me?Is this aligned with my bigger vision?Am I spending my time and energy on what still matters to me?

If you’re stuck in the infinity loop of “just getting through,” chances are you need clarity about your purpose and passion. Take time to sit with those questions.

2. Letting Go is Growth

“Just let it go” is easy to say and hard to do. Personally, I had to let go of projects, ideas, and even relationships that no longer aligned with my shifted priorities.

Letting go makes room for what matters. If you’re holding onto something out of fear, obligation, or habit, ask yourself:

Is this still aligned with who I want to be?What would happen if I released it?

The freedom and possibility on the other side are worth it.

3. Small, Deliberate Steps Lead to Big Change

We often overestimate what we can do in a day and underestimate what we can achieve in a year. This year, I learned to focus on small but deliberate actions that build momentum.

Instead of obsessing over the end goal, I focused on improving my customer experience and serving the clients I already had. Progress isn’t about massive leaps; it’s about showing up every day and doing the work.

4. Community is Everything

If 2024 taught me anything, it’s that we can’t do it alone. Your community—your family, your team, your network—is one of your greatest assets.

“Chasing a vague ‘there’ doesn’t help you enjoy the here and now.”

Focus on building relationships that celebrate your success and remind you of your journey. Collaboration and connection will take you further than you ever thought possible.

5. Your Mindset is Your Greatest Asset

This year, I saw how the stories I tell myself—about what’s possible, about my worth, about my capacity—directly impact my outcomes.

What are you telling yourself? Are those stories helping or hindering you? Expecting the worst and hoping for the best doesn’t work. Expect the best, and visualize it. A small shift in perspective can create a ripple effect of positive change.

How to Do Better in 2025

Here’s how I’m planning to step into 2025 with more intention, and I invite you to join me.

1. Set Intentions, Not Just Goals

Goals are important, but intentions keep you connected to your “why.” This year, I’ll be asking:

What kind of person do I want to be?What do I need to do to become that? What experiences do I want to have? How do I want to feel?

Change is an inside job. Start now.

2. Audit Your Time and Energy

Your time and energy are your most valuable resources, and you need to protect them. My friend Erin practices “No’vember”—a month dedicated to saying no to anything that doesn’t align.

In 2025, I’m committing to auditing how I spend my time. If it doesn’t align with my priorities or bring me closer to my goals, it’s a no.

3. Invest in Yourself

Whether it’s learning a new skill, hiring a coach, or taking time to rest, investing in yourself is never a waste.

4. Focus on Relationships

Relationships are what give life meaning. This year, I’m doubling down on the relationships that matter—my family, my team, my community.

5. Take Action

It’s easy to get stuck in planning mode, but action is where the magic happens. In 2025, I’ll focus on imperfect action—starting before I’m ready, learning as I go, and trusting the process.

Let’s Make 2025 Our Best Year Yet

As we move into the new year, let’s commit to doing better—not just for our businesses, but for ourselves. Let’s take the lessons from 2024 and use them to create a year filled with clarity, courage, and conscious growth.

I’ll be right there with you, navigating the challenges, celebrating the wins, and staying true to the belief that we can design a life and business we love.

Here’s to a year of progress, purpose, and possibility.

10 Tips to Run a Better Business

When I first started building businesses, I had no guidebook. I had been laid off. I was figuring things out as I went, often learning through trial and error. Frankly, I wished someone would have given me a good overview first, so that I knew what the steps would be in order.

Hard lessons followed and I discovered that success is not just a great idea or working hard. There is more. A plan, steps in the right order, a strategy, clarity, and consistency. Knowing that as the boss you must understand your strengths, align with your purpose, and build something that your clients want or need.

In my work I see this a lot of time. Many people stay stuck because they’re caught in what I call the “infinity loop.” They’re busy, but without a strategy and no real connection to their clients and subsequently they’re not making progress. They’re putting in the effort, but they’re not seeing results.

Today I share my essential 10 tips to help you build a business with intention, focus, and heart. Let’s lay a solid foundation for growth while staying true to who you are.

1. Identify the Problem You Solve

Every business exists to solve a problem. Your success depends on understanding what that problem is and how you can uniquely solve it. I call this creating an Airtight Avatar—a crystal-clear profile of your ideal client. Crawl into their minds, understand their challenges, and offer a solution they can’t resist. Remember, it’s not about you; it’s about them. They must either need or want that.

2. Validate Your Idea

Not every idea is a great business. I’ve learned this the hard way. Once, I created an e-book business for coffee table books—only to realize people don’t grab other peoples iPads to browse coffee table books. Before diving in headfirst, test your idea with a real audience. Platforms like AppSumo are great for seeing if your minimum viable offer resonates with the market. Don’t invest or build out something you haven’t tested.

3. Build a Clear Business Model

This one is huge. Without a business model, you’re just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. Your model could be product-based, service-driven, or knowledge-focused—but whatever it is, define it. Don’t let shiny tools and expensive subscriptions to funnels, CRM’s, building online courses,  or speaking from stage dictate how you build your business. Build your business model first intentionally, not based on what a random software can do or works for an internet marketer..

4. Develop a Strong Offer

Your offer is the bridge between your business and your customer’s problem. The clearer your offer, the more compelling it will be. Talk to your clients, listen to their challenges, and create something that directly solves their problems. Have multiple levels of an offer. It’s that simple.

5. Establish Systems and Processes

If you want to grow, you need systems. But let me make something clear: build your systems based on your business model and your overall strategy, not on a software’s capabilities. Too often, people let tools like Hubspot, Thinkific or Kajabi dictate their business structure. Instead, define what you want to do first and then find tools that support your goals.

6. Master Your Mindset

Your mindset is your superpower. I’ve seen too many entrepreneurs sabotage themselves because their inner dialogue doesn’t match their goals. Focus on thoughts that genuinely feel good to you. For inspiration, check out Abraham Hicks’ teachings on abundance or my podcast episodes with Franco Lo Franco and David Neagle. Staying in a high-energy vibration is critical to your success.

7. Map the Client Transformation Journey

Your business doesn’t just solve one problem; it guides your clients through a transformation. Decide where on their journey you’ll meet them and where they’ll be when they’re done working with you. I’ll call this the bookends of the transformation journey. This clarity helps you design offers and create a structure that serves your clients at every step.

8. Define What You Want

This is a big one. Ask yourself: What do you want? Why are you doing this? Are you building a business for freedom, financial security, or something else? Your priorities will shift over time—mine certainly have. At 60, I’m a grandmother, and I value freedom and family more than ever. My legacy and making my materials available to the next cadre of consultants and coaches is on my mind now. Be clear about what you want, and make sure your business aligns with your life.

9. Don’t Do It Alone

There’s no glory in doing everything yourself. Success is collaboration and finding support. That’s why I created the Growth Architect tribe and Forum, our accountability groups—because having people to share your challenges with makes all the difference. Vulnerability isn’t weakness; it’s a strength that allows others to support and uplift you.

10. Attract, Don’t Persuade

Gone are the days of loud, aggressive marketing. Yes, internet marketing has seen its day. Today, people crave authenticity and connection. Be real about who you are and what you stand for. When you’re aligned with your purpose, the right people will naturally be drawn to you. Focus on passion and service first—the money will follow.

Final Thoughts

Building a business can be about just making money or hitting milestones—but this is not who we work with. Our clients create something that reflects who they are and the impact they want to make. You chose.

This  journey challenges you to grow and often pushes you out of your comfort zone. That’s how you find rewards in ways you never imagined. But let’s be real: it’s not always easy. There will be days when you doubt yourself, when things don’t go as planned, and when the challenges feel insurmountable. That’s why I invite you to join Forum

That is the importance of community. Don’t try to do this alone. Surround yourself with people who believe in you, who challenge you to grow, and who are willing to share their experiences and insights. Whether it’s through a formal accountability group or a trusted circle of friends and mentors, having support can make all the difference. Very rarely I do advise asking family members. You want an outside perspective.

And finally, give yourself grace. Success is not a straight line. It’s a winding path filled with highs and lows, lessons learned, and unexpected breakthroughs. Celebrate the small wins, learn from the setbacks, and keep your eyes on the bigger picture. You’re not just building a business—you’re creating a life that aligns with your values and aspirations. And that is how you make an impact.

Why Every Business Needs a Plan and How to Create One

When it comes to running a business, I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a plan. Think of it like heading out on a road trip without a map. Sure, you might enjoy going where the wind takes you, but without clear directions, you’ll end up lost, frustrated, and nowhere near where you want to be.

I’ve worked with many entrepreneurs, and one thing I’ve seen over and over again is that without a solid business plan, people waste time and money chasing shiny objects that don’t help them grow. Let’s fix that and look into the steps to making a plan.

Why Every Business Needs a Plan

A business plan is your guiding light. It helps you focus on your destination and outlines the exact steps you need to take to get there. Without it, you’re guessing—that is doing something half heartedly and then when it’s not working you try something else. Now you are stuck in the Infinity Loop once again.

A plan keeps you grounded and helps you prioritize what really matters. Too often, I see people trying to do everything at once: launching new products, learning new skills, buying every course and tool under the sun. This creates chaos, not progress. A clear plan stops the overwhelm and gives you clarity.

How to Create Your Plan1. Plan for the Problem You’re Solving

Every successful business solves a well-defined problem. The plan outlines how this solution is brought to your clients. So, what problem are you solving? And more importantly, does your solution meet your client’s actual needs?

I always tell my clients this:

“Money is the currency for a transfer of confidence. People pay YOU because they trust you to solve their problem.”

That’s why it’s critical to know your audience. In Growth Architecture, our very first step is the creation of the Airtight Avatar. It’s a detailed profile of your ideal customer. What challenges do they face? What are they thinking? What keeps them up at night? What do they need from you? Knowing this gives you the clarity to build a business that works.

2. For Your Plan to Work You Must Test Your Idea

Not every idea will work, and that’s okay. What’s important is figuring that out early so you don’t waste time and resources. You can’t sell to a “phantom avatar.” That means you may have a great idea but the person who has that need doesn’t exist.

“Always validate your idea before going all in. I love tools like AppSumo for testing minimum viable SaaS offers. They help you see if people are willing to pay for your product or service before you invest too much.”

3. Turn that Plan Into a Business Model

Here’s the part most people skip, but it’s one of the most important. You need a business model. This is the backbone of your plan—it defines how you make money, who you serve, and what you offer.

Too often, people let tools dictate their business model. They sign up for all kinds of software and then build their business around what the tool can do. This is backward.

“Your business model should come first. Choose tools that fit your plan, not the other way around.”

Think about what works for you. Will you offer consulting services, create physical products, or teach online courses? Make sure your model aligns with your skills and what your audience actually needs. Once you are clear, find the tools for the delivery.

4. Set Up Systems and Processes to Make the Plan Work

This is where the magic happens. Once you know your business model, you can set up systems to streamline your work. The right processes save you time, outline what needs to be done for your team, and allow you to scale without chaos.

Remember, your systems should support your business—not the other way around. Don’t get caught up in shiny software features. Focus on what you need to run your business smoothly.

5. Stay Flexible and Adjust the Plan

Your business plan isn’t set in stone. The market will change, your goals will shift, and that’s okay. A good plan grows with you. I revisit my plan regularly to make sure it still aligns with where I want to go and what my audience needs.

Final Thoughts

If there’s one thing I want you to take away, it’s this: you can wing some of it, but only if you have a plan that you can get back to that keeps you focused. A business plan doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does need to cover the basics—what problem you solve, who you’re solving it for, and how you’ll make it happen. We use a one page Super Simple Business Plan template that outlines the basics.

When you have a plan, you’re not just hoping for success—you’re building it. So, take the time to create your roadmap. You’ll save yourself from unnecessary detours and get where you want to go faster.

Is Your Messaging Still Relevant?

As my business grows and evolves, so does my messaging. I’ve learned that sometimes what I said in the past, the way I said it, or even the words I chose, can become barriers to connecting with my audience as both they and I change. In one of my recent sessions with the ‘Turn Your Talent Into a Business’ group (we are launching the next one in February,) we had an eye-opening realization about how specific labels or terminology can either empower or alienate the very people we wish to help. I want to share one simple word that came up for one of my clients. I encourage you to take a look at this and think about if it might be time for you to reevaluate yours as well.

The Problem with Old Labels

Mike George from Soaring Families has described the services he gives for “caregivers.” What seemed like a functional, simple descriptor turned out to be something loaded with negative connotations. It carries a sense of burden, a sense of loss of identity. Would a parent who has a child that needs care call himself a “caregiver?” Or is a caregiver really a parent, lover, spouse—people with responsibilities, but also with deep emotions that are far richer and more nuanced than just caring for someone’s needs?

What became evident was that clinging to such outdated terminology not only hindered connection but also inadvertently added a label. A simple word that had made sense early on feels judgemental and irrelevant because it didn’t honor the love and resilience of the people involved.

From Caregiver to Love Giver

As we spoke about the challenges I suggested the term “love giver.” It was spontaneous. “Love giver” as a replacement to the transactional, clinical feel of “caregiver” with something warmer, more expansive, and honest?  Or perhaps there is a different word for Mike to use in his work as he supports families in their challenges to care for a child or loved one.

This seemingly small change created a visible transformation in the room. That emotional recalibration isn’t just semantics; it’s the difference between resentment and fulfillment. And that is how it translates into resonance and that is what attracts your ideal client.

The Lesson for Your Messaging

The language we use can either uplift or diminish. If your messaging hasn’t changed in years, it’s possible that it is no longer doing justice to the audience you serve. Maybe it’s time to look at the labels you use, the values you convey, and ask if they still align with what you, and more importantly, your audience, believe in.

Ask yourself:

Do the terms I use reflect my audience’s current experiences? Their emotions and fears and hope? Are there labels that once worked but now feel disconnected or limiting? How can I reframe these labels to honor the real, lived experiences of my audience?

Relevance is a Moving Target

Your audience evolves, and so does your relationship with them. The messages that once worked when your audience was in a different phase of their journey might no longer resonate. In the business world, as in life, the only constant is change. You can either resist this change and cling to old messaging, or you can allow your words to grow along with your audience, resonating with where they are today.

The next time you evaluate your messaging, ask yourself—what’s no longer relevant? What needs a refresh, a reframe, or perhaps even a complete replacement? Growth doesn’t just happen in your business model, your revenue, or your skillset. It’s in your words, in the way you connect and make others feel seen and understood.

Final Thoughts

Language shapes perception. Holding onto outdated messaging can hinder your impact. By reexamining what became irrelevant, by being bold enough to remove what no longer serves you or your audience, you open up space for true resonance, genuine connection, and the potential for a community that feels understood and appreciated.

Let this be a reminder: evolving your messaging isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Stay attuned to what matters, not just to you, but to the hearts of those you wish to serve. Because words have power, and your audience deserves the very best of them.

And if you need a little help in figuring out what is going on inside the minds of your clients, we created a tool that does just that. https://AirtightAvatar.com

Are Leaders Made or Born?

For years, people have debated whether leaders are born or made. In my experience, the answer is clear: while some people show leadership ability early on, leadership is not something you’re born with—it’s something you grow into. It’s a skill, a journey, and most importantly, a choice. Every leader I’ve worked with, including myself, has had to go through a process of learning, adapting, and stepping into their role intentionally.

Leadership Is a Hero’s Journey

Leadership is not about being perfect. Rather it is about embracing the challenges and figuring things out along the way. I see leadership as a hero’s journey. Just like in the stories we grew up with, leaders face dragons, defeat scary monsters, but return home transformed.

But here’s an interesting fact. At the start of the journey, many leaders don’t see themselves as heroes. I know I didn’t. There’s resistance, fear, and that nagging voice that whispers, Who do you think you are? Yet, every great leader I’ve met has had to eventually realize that what we do matters to other people and we are leaders. Subsequently we focus on the opportunity to grow and serve. Is the same true for you?

The Truth About Leadership

One of the principles I teach in the program Turn Your Talent Into a Business is clarity. Leadership in your own life starts with asking the right questions: What’s my idea? Who am I serving? What problem am I solving? When you take the time to get clear on these foundational pieces, leading starts to feel less overwhelming and more like a natural next step. Someone has to make these decisions, and most likely it is you.

For me, clarity has always been key. When I sold my business to Bill Gates, it wasn’t because I had all the answers. It was because I understood my unique value and leaned into it.

From Fear to Confidence

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that fear is part of the process. Courage is when you feel fear and you do it anyway. I first heard that from Maria Shriver, former First Lady of California. I’ve faced it every time I’ve stepped into a bigger role. And every single participant in my programs faces it too. Doubts like… Who am I to lead this? Does anyone want this? Am I really the right person for this? …show up every time we’re about to level up. Fear is just a signal that growth is happening. You are moving outside of your comfort zone.

I always tell my clients to reframe their doubts as milestones. When resistance shows up, it’s not a sign to stop—it’s proof that you’re on the right path. Leadership is to recognize that fear and move forward anyway.

Leadership Through Emotional Connection

People don’t follow leaders because they’re perfect; they follow leaders who are real. That’s why I encourage you to share your struggles and triumphs. Vulnerability is one of the most powerful tools we have. It creates trust, and it reminds others that they’re not alone.

One of the most meaningful moments in my coaching sessions is when someone has a breakthrough. I call it “the lightbulb moment.” It’s when they stop seeing their challenges as roadblocks and start seeing them as stepping stones. Whether it’s reframing a caregiving role from a burden to a privilege or realizing that their story is their strength, these moments are why I do what I do.

The Shift From Hustle to Alignment

Early in my career, I bought into the hustle culture. I thought that working harder and doing more was the only way to succeed. But I’ve learned that true leadership is about alignment. It’s means building systems that support your goals, delegating effectively, and creating a life and business that works for you.

For me, alignment means knowing where I want to go and creating a plan to get there. It means making decisions based on what’s most important—whether that’s my family, my business, or my health. Leadership isn’t about burning out; it’s about showing up as your best self so you can inspire others to do the same.

Leaders Are Built Through Community

Leadership isn’t a solo journey. One of the things I love most about my work is the communities we create. In my peer-to-peer Impact Driven Consultants Forum, I’ve seen firsthand how much we can grow when we’re surrounded by like-minded people who challenge and support us.

If you’re on your own leadership journey, don’t underestimate the power of connection. Surround yourself with people who understand your vision and can help you stay accountable. Community is where transformation happens.

Leadership Is a Choice

At the end of the day, leadership is a choice. Decide to step up, to grow, and to create impact. It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from. What matters is that you’re willing to learn, adapt, and take that first step.

Show up every day, be real, and do the work. Say, yes, I’m ready to lead. And when you do–you are.

Are you ready to make the choice? If you are, I promise the journey will be worth it.

Lead, Don’t Beg: How to Stand in Your Power and Draw Clients to You

If there’s one mantra that’s transformed my approach to business, it’s this: “Lead, Don’t Beg”. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a talented business owner, coach or consultant dilute their value by trying to convince others of their worth. They chase every lead, offer endless customizations, and often feel drained and undervalued when working with their clients. But here’s the truth: when you lead with confidence, you set a standard that naturally draws the right people to you. This approach lets you stand in your power and know what you bring to the table.

Why “Begging” Undermines Your Authority

Let’s be real—when you’re constantly selling yourself, it’s exhausting. And I’m not just talking about physically exhausting; I mean the type of exhaustion that chips away at your confidence. When you’re bending over backward to appeal to everyone, the message you send is, “I need your validation.” Instead of attracting the clients you actually want, you end up with those who either don’t fully understand or don’t respect your expertise.

In my own experience, the people who seek us out and see our value are the ones we actually want to work with. Think about it: would you rather spend your time convincing someone of your worth or spend it working with clients who already get it? When we let go of trying to “catch” every lead and focus instead on creating clear boundaries on what works for us and what doesn’t, it demonstrates our sense of value, we attract the clients who are ready and willing to invest in that because there is resonance.

Setting Boundaries is Key to Leading

Boundaries are non-negotiable when it comes to leading. They’re not there to keep people out; they’re there to let the right people in. I learned the hard way that defining my boundaries was necessary to not only create respect but also to establish my expertise. I show my clients how to establish their “How I Work” framework. This means being upfront about things like response times, meeting formats, and your expectations from the client. Clients who respect these boundaries are likely to respect your expertise, and this alignment builds a foundation for a fruitful working relationship.

Here’s how you can start: Next time you onboard a client, clearly outline what they can expect from you and what you’ll need from them. It’s a simple way to set the tone for a respectful, professional relationship—and it ensures you’re working with people who value your process.

Show Up as the Expert You Are

To lead, you first want to get clear on the unique value you bring. You can’t expect others to see your value if you’re not clear about it yourself. This was a big lesson for me. For a long time, I’d downplay my own expertise, focusing more on what clients wanted to hear than taking the lead on showing them the path to their success. When I leaned into owning my role as an expert, everything started to change. I started attracting the right people because I was showing up seriously in my work.

Actionable step: Sit down and write a simple statement that outlines your value. Don’t think of it as your job title or a generic tagline—it’s a statement that sums up what you do better than anyone else. Make this the way you introduce yourself in every conversation and pitch. When you clearly communicate your expertise, you draw people who resonate with it.

Let Go of the Need to Be Everything to Everyone

Here’s something I want you to think about: not everyone is meant to be your client. I know this is tough, especially if you’re building a business and want to say yes to every opportunity. But saying yes to the wrong clients means saying no to the right ones. When I stopped trying to appeal to everyone, I noticed that my ideal clients—the ones who aligned with my values and vision—naturally gravitated toward me.

Practical advice: Ask yourself who you truly want to work with, and be unapologetic about it. Craft your marketing, messaging, and outreach with these people in mind. By focusing your energy on the clients who are ready for the level of service you offer, you’re far more likely to create meaningful, lasting connections.

Control the Conversation with Confidence

One of the most powerful shifts I’ve made in my business was learning to control the flow of conversations with potential clients. Instead of “pitching” my services, I started asking clients two simple questions: “Can you or should you do this on your own?” and “Would you prefer to have a guide along the way?” These questions bring clients face-to-face with the value of having expert support. No sales pitch required. Just an honest assessment of whether they need help—and whether I’m the right person to provide it.

Try this out: The next time you’re in a meeting with a potential client, skip the pitch. Instead, ask them these questions. You’ll be surprised at how effectively this reframes the conversation. They’ll start seeing you as a valuable partner rather than just a service provider.

Release the Outcome and Attract with Ease

One of the hardest lessons in business—and in life—is learning to detach from the outcome. We tend to go into client meetings with an “I have to close this deal” mindset. I get it; we all want to grow our business and hit our goals. But I’ll tell you, the minute you let go of the need to close every sale, you create room for the clients who are genuinely ready to work with you. Leading isn’t about convincing or chasing; it’s about showing up authentically and trusting that the right people will respond.

Practice this shift: Before you go into a call or meeting, remind yourself of your bigger mission. Your purpose isn’t to convince someone of your value—it’s to offer them a solution if it aligns. Take a deep breath, show up with your expertise, and let go of any pressure to make the sale.

Building Your Business as a True Leader

“Lead, Don’t Beg” is about embracing a whole new approach to how we operate in our businesses. When you lead, you no longer have to rely on manipulative sales tactics, excessive persuasion, or exhausting pitches. Instead, you create a powerful standard that attracts clients who value your expertise, respect your boundaries, and align with your vision.

Here’s what I want you to remember: You have something unique to offer. Show up with that confidence. Set boundaries that protect your energy and make it clear you’re serious about your work. And above all, never feel the need to beg for business. The right clients will see your value because you’re leading them to it—every step of the way.

Your business deserves clients who are as committed to growth and success as you are. Lead with conviction, set the standard, and watch how your confidence shifts everything in your favor.

Integrating Spirituality with Strategy: Crafting a Resonant Business Model

After going through a deep personal transformation, I’ve had my “come to Jesus” moment. Really the message that I picked up was that I had to infuse the spiritual aspects of my work more clearly into the strategic concepts I am known for.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—do spirituality and strategy even belong in the same conversation? After all, spirituality often gets labeled as “woo-woo,” while strategy is seen as logical, step-by-step, and structured.

But here’s the thing: I’m seeing a growing shift. People want more. Not just more money, take their families on vacation, and have financial security, but they also want their work to mean more. They’re looking for purpose. I am not seeing the success at all costs is worth it attitude anymore; rather it has shifted to building a business that resonates with your soul. That’s why I titled my upcoming business intensive “Unleash Your Inner Architect: Building a Business That Resonates with Your Soul.”

The Entrepreneur’s Roller Coaster

During the business intensive, I’ll share a concept I’ve been developing that is best described as an Infinity Loop. In business, we often find ourselves in cycles: we work hard, gain momentum, get busy, and then things fall off. We find ourselves in a valley, scrambling to get back on top, only to repeat the cycle. This happens for many reasons, including unconscious barriers and set points that limit our growth—barriers that may not even be your fault.

Many of these blocks come from deep-seated beliefs, possibly inherited from ancestors, parents, or traumatic childhood experiences. For example, I recently spoke with a client who suffered from perfectionism because of his parents expectations of him when he was just five years old. By simply bringing awareness to it, we were able to shift that belief in one hour. We found the issue, we addressed it, we connected this desire to be perfect with how he works and turned it into a positive reframe. His entire body language changed and shared that he felt joy and relief afterward. Sometimes, overcoming these hurdles is simpler than you think, and that’s a big part of what we’ll address in this business intensive.

Combining Spirituality and Strategy

At the core of this journey is your inner architect. Your inner architect blends spirituality and strategy—two elements that together create a powerful transmission. Stop chasing the latest tactics or following someone else’s model. Instead ask: What do I want to build? What is the business model that will get me there?

Your why—the deep reason behind why you do what you do—determines your “what” and “how.” Many entrepreneurs don’t know how to start so they search for, “Something that can help me grow my business?” Say hello to internet marketing. Next you are signed up to buy tactics like funnels, ad tools, or lead generation programs, hoping one will be the magic fix. But these are just tools, not a business model. My approach is to help you create the business model first, one that is in complete alignment with your values, desires, and lifestyle.

Designing a Resonant Business Model

A resonant business model is one that works for you, based on what success looks like for you. Your desires, dreams, and limitations all play a role in shaping this model. For example, if you’re a mother who needs to be home by 4:45 to pick up your kids, then we build a business model that honors that. It’s not about pushing yourself to the point of exhaustion or missing out on important life moments. It’s about integrating your life with your work so that your business supports your lifestyle, not drains it.

So, how do we build this resonant business model? It starts by understanding that your time is valuable, and that you shouldn’t be figuring everything out on your own. You wouldn’t try to do your own dry cleaning or give yourself a facial; you’d go to an expert. This is no different. By attending this business intensive, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts who have seen it all and can guide you in the right direction.

The Shift: Business Beyond Work

I believe the idea of “work at all costs” is outdated. Success has to be more than grinding and hustling; there has to be a spiritual connection, nurturing your relationships, and enjoying the journey along the way. That means being present for the moments, the small joys that make life worth living, so that when you reach your “there, you actually feel fulfilled.

I recently had a beautiful moment that reminded me of this. My family was gathered at my home—my daughter, my husband, my granddaughter, and close friends. The smell of rosemary lamb filled the air, we laughed, shared wine, and eventually, my granddaughter fell asleep in my arms. As I watched her sleep, I realized: This is it. This is my ‘there’.

That’s what I want for you. I want to give you the shortcuts to get to your “there” faster, so you can enjoy the “here” moments while building the business model that can get you to your dreams. If this resonates with you, I invite you to join my business intensive where we’ll dig deep into integrating your soul with strategy, crafting a business model that works for you.

Unlocking Your ‘Why’: Overcoming Barriers to Build a Soulful Business

Today I want to share something close to my heart—something that combines both spirituality and strategy. Often, these two concepts seem like they don’t belong in the same room. Spirituality feels abstract, while strategy is all about logical, step-by-step execution. But what if we could blend the two? What if we could create a business that not only thrives but also aligns with our deeper purpose?

Finding Your ‘Why’

As business owners, many of us want more than just success. Sure, we want to make money, afford vacations, and show up strong for our families, but it has to mean something more. This is why I call my upcoming business intensive, “Unleash Your Inner Architect: Building a Business that Resonates with Your Soul.” The goal is to help you discover your ‘why’—the driving force behind what you do—and then align that with a business model that feeds your soul.

Your ‘why’ determines your ‘what’ and ‘how.’ Too often, I see entrepreneurs looking outside for solutions that don’t fit their business or personal goals. Instead of creating a strategy that works for their lives, they buy tactics—tools, funnels, software—hoping that something will click. But these are just pieces of the puzzle. Without a clear understanding of your ‘why,’ you’re building on shaky ground.

The Unconscious Barriers Holding You Back

What many of us don’t realize is that some of the barriers we face aren’t even our own doing. They could be inherited from our parents, passed down through generations, or rooted in childhood experiences. For example, during a recent event, I spoke with a participant who had carried the weight of his parents’ criticism since he was five years old. Just by bringing awareness to it, he was able to find joy and relief in under an hour.

These unconscious barriers often create what I call the entrepreneurial roller coaster—an endless loop where you work hard, get busy, and then experience a dip before scrambling back to the top. This pattern can leave you feeling stuck, but it doesn’t have to be this way. By identifying and addressing these hidden challenges, you can break free and create a more sustainable and fulfilling path to success.

The Inner Architect: Blending Spirituality with Strategy

The concept of the “Inner Architect” combines spirituality and strategy. Learn to understand the core principles you want to live by and build a business model that aligns with those values. The external strategies—the tactics, funnels, and tools—are how you execute the plan. What matters is that these strategies resonate with who you are and what you want to achieve.

For example, if you’re a parent who needs to leave work by 4:45 PM to pick up your kids, your business model has to reflect that.

Overcoming the Trap of Tactics

One of the biggest mistakes I see is business owners relying solely on tactics without a clear strategy. You buy the latest software or attend a course, hoping it will be the magic bullet. But these are just tools—they’re not the business model itself. A great IT consultant will tell you to figure out what you need before purchasing software. The same principle applies to your business: understand your ‘why’ first and then we build a business model around it.

If you keep buying tactics, you’ll always be scrambling, adjusting your business to fit the tool instead of the other way around.

Embracing the Journey

I want to help you get to a place where you can enjoy the “here” moments while working toward your “there.” In my life, a pivotal “here” moment happened during a family dinner. As I held a sleeping baby, my granddaughter and watched her lips shiver I looked up and saw my daughter, her husband, friends, my husband, his daughter and her husband, all laughing and having a good time and realized that this was my ‘there.’ The hard work, the strategic decisions—this is what I did it for.

I want you to have more of those moments without sacrificing everything else along the way. That’s why I’ve designed my upcoming business intensive to help you discover your ‘why,’ remove unconscious barriers, and build a business that resonates with your soul.
