ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW BOOK COMING THIS SUMMER!/ALL BLACK EVERYTHING EXPLAINED!
A majority of Kevin Eleven’s social media sites have been covered with this black avi over the past few months signifying his hiatus.
Hello everyone,
I would like to announce that this summer I have a new book coming out. The book at hand is a follow-up to my debut novel called, Tales of the 23rd Precinct. You can find out more information about it in the newly written press release by my publisher, here. Also, if you happen to follow me on social media, whether it be twitter, Facebook, or even Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been barely active on some (twitter) and non-existent on others (Facebook & Instagram).
More importantly, besides being ghost on all of these social media platforms, I’ve also been sporting an all black avi on most of these sites which symbolically represents my silence as I prepare myself for what will be an action packed summer with my small indiepublisher, FloweredConcrete, and as well as my booklaunch for my forthcoming untitled project.
The black avi you have been seeing lately on thesewebsiteshave multiple meanings as well. It represents peace, space, isolation, contemplation, and as well as a world with no politics as everything is consumed by darkness. Albeit, however, this does not mean I am depressed which I’m sure many people may presume due to my inactivity as of late.
The blackness for me represents a time of focus and as well as intensity as I am usually scrambling to get things done and projects completed. As I am now back on social media (as of today) I want you all to know that my time is now as I will do everything that I possibly can to keep you guys focused, in tuned and highly engaged throughout the next few months on this blog and as well as the Flowered Concrete website. Stay tuned over the next few months as my book pre-launch begins NOW!!!

Flowered Concrete Continues Literacy Workshop at South Jamaica Library in Queens, New York. 4/15/2015
Dear Flowered Concrete Followers,
Zines To Reach Your Dreams Info
As of last Wednesday, April 15th, Flowered Concrete continued their Zines To Reach Your Dreams Workshop at South Jamaica Library. This time around, however, our CEO/Founder, Kevin Anglade, is tackling it solo as Alton Taylor, our lead art director has other obligations to take care of.
Moreover, so far, so good as the teens at the library were very enthralled with what Anglade presented them with and as well as prepared in lessons.
Going forward, Flowered Concretes mission with the current group at hand is to enhance their writing abilities while providing them with the confidence to push forward their imaginations.
In due time, the group will play games with Anglade as he plans on combining literacy and as well as entertainment from todays media and

Kevin Anglade & Alton Taylor on set shooting Latest Vlog for BookFrundraiser Campaign at Washington Square Park
Dear Flowered Concrete Followers,
We honestly hope that you all arewell. Earlier this month, we here at Flowered Concrete were courteously invited to attend the first annual Queens Book Festival.
Therefore, due to a lack of finance in supporting ourselves to attend this event, starting next week on the 6th of April, we here atFlowered Concrete will launch an online crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo.com to raise money for the firstinaugral Queens Book Festival itself.
The book festival will take place in Queens, New York City on Saturday, June 20th, at Citi-Field, which is the home of the MLB baseball franchise, The New York Mets and it is our biggest of hopes that we can possibly attend this extraordinary literary extravaganza.
Below, you will be able to read the entire sample of our campaign
