Customer Traffic Improving at Books-A-Million, Half Price Books - Publishers Weekly

Panzer made a stop at the Publishers Weekly site today. There he found a post about consumers returning to bookstores.
According to Jim Milliot's post, bookstores are seeing an increase in consumer traffic. The post has charts for Books-A-Million, Half Price Books and Barnes and Noble bookstores showing the consumer traffic increases. There's also a link to a previous post about Barnes and Noble's consumer increase.
Panzer says, "This little kitty thinks it good to know humans still go to bookstores."

RBMedia Agrees to Acquire Dreamscape Media - Publishers Weekly

Today's trip into the Catosphere took Panzer to the Publishers Weekly site. There our inquisitive kitty boy found a post about Dreamscape Media.
According to Jim Milliot's post, Dreamscape Media is being acquired by RBMedia. As part of the acquisition RBMedia will gain Dreamscape's 7,000 audiobook inventory.
Panzer says, "This little kitty thinks the audiobook funnel just got smaller."

New Talents Among Dagger Champs - The Rap Sheet

As a followup to the Shirley Jackson Awards competition he told you about, Panzer went to The Rap Sheet site. With just a little digging in the posts there, our speedy little kitty boy found a post about the British Crime Writers Association Dagger Awards.
J. Kingston Pierce's post lists the winners of the awards in eleven categories as well as the nominees.
Panzer says, "This little kitty recognizes some names here too. How about you?"

Panzer made a quick stop at the Mystery Fanfare site today. There he found a post about the Shirley Jackson Awards.
According to the post, the nominees in the awards competition were announced earlier this month. The post lists the nominees in all six categories of the competition. The winners will be announced on July 13.
