Richard Charkin: Chatting Megatrends With ChatGPT - Publishing Perspectives
Panzer made a trip to the Publishing Perspectives site today. There our traveling kitty pilot found a post about publishing and ChatGPT.
I think you'll like it.
In his post Richard Charkin describes posing a question about megatrends in publishing to ChatGPT and the AI's entire response to the question. The response is broken down into ten parts. Richard Charkin then responds to ChatGPT's ten with ten of his own plus four more. .
Panzer says, "This little kitty isn't putting anything else from Richard Charkin's post here because you need to read his entire post."
Note: This is a very long post. Bring a cup of tea, a muffin and a chocolate chip cookie (biscuit) for today's reading selection.

A look inside the AWS lab where retired hardware gets a second chance - About Amazon
Today, Panzer went to the Amazon news site About Amazon. There he found a post about the company's recycling efforts.
Interesting. The post by the Amazon Staff begins with a 2+ minutes YouTube video which explains how Amazon recycles computer parts. This is followed by an in-depth explanation of what was covered in the video. The section is broken down into the steps the system parts go through to be reused.
Panzer says, "This little kitty didn't know parts could be fixed and re-used."
Note: Because of the video and the photos illustrating each step, this is a very long post. Bring a cup of tea, a muffin, a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie (biscuit) for today's reading selection.

Copyright, Contracts, and AI-Generated Material - Writer Beware (R)

Today's trip into the Catosphere took Panzer to the Writer Beware (R) site. There he found an important post about copyright and AI.
According to a post by Michael Capobianco, the U.S. Copyright Office has determined what it will consider copyrightable in human and AI-generated material. It doesn't appear to bode well for AI-generated books. The post includes a link to the U.S. Copyright Office.
Panzer says, "For all you wanne-be writers who have taken the Have GPT write your book in an hour and become a published author class, stop and read this post."
Note: This is a medium length post. Bring a cup of tea and a chocolate chip cookie (biscuit) for your snack while you read.
