Help Me Obey You!

The Lord God almighty makes so unbelievably clear in the Bible that those who repent and place their faith in Christ as Lord, believing He died on the cross to pay our sin penalty and was raised from the dead, turning to Him and His ways, receiving His forgiveness and the promise of everlasting life with Him ARE TO LIVE IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM.

Friend, one day I came across a little piece of paper on which I had written a tiny little but oh so powerful and shocking prayer. “Help me obey,” I had wri...

The Packaged Turkey Story

I was eating a few slices of packaged turkey when all of a sudden I realized I didn’t much like the taste of it. Moan, moan. Whine, whine. Not so yummy. Now wait a minute!

It most assuredly wasn’t Thanksgiving Day when much of America eats turkey to celebrate the big holiday, but the issue of thanksgiving was exactly what came onto my heart. Specifically how I wasn’t in the least bit practicing it. In my spoiled rotten, complaining spirit, I was absolutely anything but thankful.

With all the peo...

Stop Questioning God

If you are totally clear the Lord has told you to do something, if you have made sure what you believe you have heard lines up with the Bible because the Lord will never speak against His own Word, if you have sought godly counsel from strong followers of Christ if and as the Lord has led you, yet you find that you have been questioning God rather than moving forward and obeying Him, I have a message for you. STOP QUESTIONING GOD.

“Stop questioning me,” the Holy Spirit strongly told me.

I knew w...

Is Your Mind Pure?

“No, no, no, all of this has to go, go, go,” I said to myself emphatically as soon as I saw my thoughts were headed down a not good pathway.

Just days before, the Lord had very sternly, very strongly led me to repentance for being what He said was “sloppy” for years when it came to keeping my heart clean, pure, and empty of wrong thoughts. I had been taught years earlier to guard my heart, to cast down imaginations, to take thoughts captive, to purify my heart, to wear and use the full armor of ...

Are You Content?

What if the Lord told you this?

“Stop looking to the world to find your contentment. Find it in me.”

That is exactly the message He placed on my heart to deliver. His Holy Spirit also spoke these words to my heart.

“I am to be your first love. In me you will find peace, hope, joy, love, mercy, grace, wisdom, fellowship, forgiveness, purpose, freedom, healing, everlasting life.”

Friend, how do we know when what we believe God has spoken is really from Him? We measure it against the Bible. We can ...

Our Ultimate Trust

Our ultimate trust is to be placed in the Lord, friend. Not in this world. Not in ourselves. Not in others. Not in people, places, or things. It is to be in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. We are to put our ultimate confidence, our ultimate expectation, and our ultimate hope IN THE LORD.

Nothing and nobody in this world are perfect and without fail. Everything in this world is temporary and capable of falling short. And so it is we will be let down, disappointed, hurt, broken, etc. if we put our ul...

Good News Daily – May 26

Dear friend,

I literally have no idea how to keep up with all the messages the Lord is pouring into me and through me. Each and every one I write is a blessing to me and I so hope that it is to you as well. Some of the messages for me are hard, convicting, and I receive the Lord’s chastening, correcting, warnings, etc. through them. Others for me are uplifting and encouraging and make me excited about a new day following the Lord.

I so love that the Lord has called me to preach from the trenches...

4 Beloved Blessings

I was starting to have one of those mornings. The mornings I have had on and off for years. I did dog rescue work for about 20 years or so followed by in recent years being on the road full-time for the Lord and ministry with a little crew of handicapped streets ministry dogs. Now I am down to my final four special needs dogs. I have been worn out beyond measure. Taking care of special needs dogs day in and day out for years without a single day off coupled with being on the road not to mention ...

That is the Sickest Sin

“That is the sickest sin!” I exclaimed to myself as I contemplated what I considered to be a heinous sin someone had chosen to commit. I was equally appalled by that person’s loved ones’ support of that decision. How horrible, ugly, and filthy it all was! Oh, what must the Lord think of it all! Horror of all horrors!

I had prayed for the person and would undoubtedly pray again both for the person and for the loved ones. I truly cared about them. Not to mention others worldwide making the same de...

Seven Abominations

Below you will find scriptures making abundantly clear seven abominations in God’s eyes.

This is a call to repentance. If you are engaging in any of these abominations or any sin at all from which you have not repented, now is the time to humble yourself before God almighty, seek His forgiveness, and turn utterly to Him and His ways.

This is a warning. Do not do what is an abomination to the Lord. His Word is His will, and in His Word we find what is sin against God.

It is time to turn away from...
