Paper Asylum in The Woman Inc

In which Poornima Laxmeshwar writes about Paper Asylum in The Woman Inc.

Read it here.

“Reading Paper Asylum is not easy but if one has the nerve then it’s a bitter pill when swallowed can give a relief. Maybe not permanent but then nothing is permanent. Through the 100 pages Rochelle Potkar has been able to see the underbelly of human emotions, sentiments and hypocrisy that we try to carry forward effortlessly. It’s like a painted canvas not just rough on the edges but in its intermittent strokes as well.”

Goa-Guntur

The tour of Guntur to Goa was interesting. Met people, got influenced, read poetry, feasted, laughed (a lot!), book-launched, lunched, taught haibun to the very-vibrant and super-creative students of BITS Pilani, Goa.

Enjoyed!

‘To Daraza’ wins The Norton Girault Literary Prize in Poetry (Norfolk, UK).

Dear Friends,

Sharing the joyous news of winning The Norton Girault Literary Prize in Poetry (Norfolk, UK) for my poem ‘To Daraza’.

The judge Luisa A. Igloria had the nicest things to say about the poem. Check it out here: https://barelysouthreview.com/nortongirault/

Many reasons to celebrate as Mid-day covers news in their Mumbai Diary: Monday Dossier, also about the The Great Indian Poetry Contest (TGIPC).
