Chair Poetry Evenings 2018
Chair Poetry Evenings’ inaugural year has unfurled and it’s exciting to see poets from Macedonia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Australia, Slovenia and India.
I hope friends in Kolkata are attending.
My write up in the Kathmandu Tribune –
‘When a curious young Indian poet gypsies around the world, he brings along the idea of a festival at the sole of his weather-beaten shoes, as unique as Chair Poetry Evenings. Ardent poetry archivist Sonnet Mondal conceptualizes with poet and painter Tushar Dhawal a sphere-parallel linguistic overlay of elegiac latitudes and poetic texture, which is to sprout this November in Kolkata.’
